Blizz removed best dungeons TBC's TW?

I was runned with alts all times. Noticed somethings feel bothered.
Saw only 5 dungeon as TW. I remember TBC TW was like more 6-8 dungeon TW.
Feel removed best TW dungeon lists

  • Hellfire Ramparts
  • Sethekk Halls
  • The Slave Pens
  • The Steamvault

Why?

I would like it, if they really include every single dungeon from tbc, way more variety. After spamming dungeons so much to level, I would really wish, if there was more than the same 4 dungeons.

Most of those were never in the TW roster.

Back in SL they replaced the Slave Pens, Arcatraz and Black Morass with the Blood Furnace, Underbog and Botanica.

Arcatraz and Black Morass are worst dungeon for TW. I’m glad blizz removed it long ago

Black Morass is one of the worst dungeons period only really competing with the Violet Hold.

Ramparts should be in every dungeon rotation ever

TW seems pretty skewed as far as scaling and such goes. I did one run only, and while it wasn’t a total wipefest or anything, overall it was not fun with healthbars going from 100% to 10% in a GCD, and so I decided that it was not even worth bothering with for the weekly quest reward.

I don’t think a different selection of dungeons would make it any better :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

No, it’s not bad. They just need to make the RP faster. If there weren’t so long breaks, it’d be a fine dungeon.

agreed the current dungeons for BC TW are kinda meh

This dungosn dont bothered me.

  • But Magister’s terrace’s “big crystal-like robots” had high damage I’m scared.
  • Mana tombs was my fave. BUt now feel enemies use stun and silenet too much than before. If I remembered … Gave me stressed
  • Underbog’s hydra boss, part water really painful since fish can 1-2 shot kill players if which into water… If cant ress time and run long
    Broke scaling easy ruin for fun.
  • Botanica fine. But more boring and too many bosses

BC had some pretty iconic dungeons

Arcatraz (but that’s one i can live without in TW)
Shadow labyrinth i just love this dungeon
Slave pens
Sethek halls
Shattered halls- we have it

I would love to see those in TW (minus arcatraz)

And finally karazhan… as a raid perhaps

I’m horribled fear Arcatraz as TW. Reason… Many time happened.
If players who first time or not idea what do for “start”.
Where trash mobs dont stop spawn. Players try kill it and easy killed players.
I tried tell them kill big monsters and make trashs stop spawn.

Same thing, if players skipped start trashs. When we wiped 2 or 3 bosses.
Back run dont safe for trash mobs still alive…

As someone who played in the OG TBC. I dont even know/feel like I am in a TBC dungeon with TW. Its just massive pulls to each boss and nuke everything down.

On one hand its good because I get the event over quicker and its fantastic as a tool for leveling. But if Bluzz are trying to give us an essence of what dungeons used to be like, then this ain’t it.

Happened in every TWD I was in (as a healer). It made me nervous everytime. Some dungeons was worse than others. Some tanks, with great gear, did not have that jumping up and down in HP.

No it’s the attack waves mechanic that sucks. People don’t like it in the Black Morass, they don’t like it in either Violet Hold, they don’t like it in the Culling of Stratholme and they don’t like it when soloing Battle of Mount Hyjal.

Is there anything as long as the Warchief Rend UBRS (classic) event in retail?

I usually make a camp fire and sit down in between fights chill out a little.

Because then they’d have to balance them all (and for old dungeons adjust loot because they don’t want to give you stuff with sockets or weird secondary properties budget).

They do try to include the more desirable dungeons (which is why they removed stuff like the Arcatraz, Black Morass, Pit of Saron and Niuzao Temple from the roster) while also maintaining variety (and not just have 4 of the 6 be all the wings of Auchindoun for example).
