Or, do what DOTA 2 did, have a ‘strict solo queue’ option so people who don’t have a party or friends can queue with others in a similar situation. This means if you party up and join a queue, you can only face other people in a party.

Apparently they tried this in SoD, but ‘it didn’t work’ -there were way more groups than solos & the queue almost never popped for solo players (iirc).
Which confuses me a little, considering how popular Blitz is, compared to RBG.

By all means they can retry it on Retail if they don’t get distracted by fixing too many of the current bugs.

tbh I’m not even sure how they’d implement it anyway.
Rated Solo + Rated grouped + unrated solo + unrated groups? Not sure we have the player count to split.

It’s an opt in system for DOTA 2. How it works there is if you check the Strict Solo-Queue option you cannot face people in party, as a result the game does tell you it will cause longer queue times. If you leave it unchecked you will probably see grouped players as a result, but have much faster queues.
I guess it’s like opting in for war mode where it warns you that you may die and you opted in for it, thus, can’t complain.
This is not SoD and they have never tried to implement it. So they better give a chance. It is realy boring with this non stop premades

To clarify, are you referring to premades, or sync premades?
OPs post was about Epics.
I don’t think they’ll introduce separate solo & pre-made queues for epics, so don’t hold your breath.
For regular BGs, Blitz is the best way to avoid premades. But again, I can’t see Blizz splitting the player base anymore.

They should try on retail where is the player base , sod its not so much people as they are in retail and even if solo que are long people prefer a fair game than get farmed and leave the game

I don’t disagree.
A long queue into a fair game is better than a quick queue into an unwinnable game.
But… I think Blitz is still the best option for a solo-queue.
RBG for full premades, Blitz for solo players & Randoms being open to everyone.

It’s neigh impossible to Honour gear for the new season with all the BG premades running around.
Why aren’t Blizzard banning players like [Simeoa-Twisting Nether] and [Zénnie-Draenor] for organising 40 man pre-made groups using the queue sync addon and making Epic BGs miserable for everyone else with their cringe defensive stack tactics, dragging out games?
They are slowly killing pvp by allowing gate-keeping of unrated pvp, preventing people from gearing. It is already a massive time investment as it is to honour cap without running into 40 man pre-made groups every evening.
Really regret resubbing for the new season.

Yes its insane we should report blizzard, they arent upholding their ToS. Allowing cheaters to ruin random bgs we are paying for this game like wth??

mixing horde and alliance in battleground groups might be the best and easiest way to combat this.

Blizz intentionally alow premades, my last post about dealing with them was flagged and removed because( you won’t guess why) inappropriate name, yes this name.

In my investigation I have found that the reason for your suspension was due to toxic behavior in chat messages. The messages sent in the account were, and I quote “lame people”, “guys the Fxxx”, “russians”,“play as team” and that behavior is not acceptable in our games.
I encourage you in the future to avoid sending messages that can offend or disturb other players. Even if you are not writing profanities or vulgar words, the negative comments are still there, and someone else can feel annoyed. Avoid this behavior as it will be sanction in the future.
This decision will remain uphold and we will not have more discussion about it.

Lol, at least they quoted your msg, when i was suspended and ask them what i did they didn’t even bother to answer that insted they send me their standard template that they deep investigated it and find they was right, better they answered my ticket on 6 day of my 7 days suspension, and at the end im sure i did nithing that violated t&c
