I am not sure if Nelfs even are part of Alliance… Imo they are just allied with Alliance just like Zandalari with Horde.

I would like it if we could join either faction when we make our characters. Unlock all races for either faction!

The op maybe on to something , they wanna make a smooth transition for future expansion where maybe they unite horde and alliance to fight the old gods or whatever monsters they come up with.
You will have PvP team red vs team blue , due to faction imbalance or lack of players . As fantasy at it may sound this could actually be the future of wow .

This is about more than a racial for some of us. Racials doesn’t pick my race(s). Story and visuals does.
You could say Blizz wants blood elves in the Alliance then as they have void elf…not to mention the white hawkstrider which is belf racial mount has been a mount obtainable by both factions since tbc
Can’t bring Aylish over, sadly, 'cause she is stuck with the Alliance. Like Anna, I’m wishing for a faction selection upon character creation for all races. I’m seriously done with the Alliance, but not the nighelves. It’s probably a complex fix tied to it, but after all these faction wars, I don’t see why we can’t be split up. To me, the nightelves are nothing but an outcast in the Alliance at this point.

Nope, that won’t happen. We are talking about the Night Elves, the most popular Alliance race alongside the Humans and Humans have been preferred because of their racials mostly but now it is nerfed.
I am okay with Hordizzard giving Horde Mechagnomes though, they can have them, all of them

Well that should be the case for all of the Alliance. That is why it is called the Alliance because they are a group of allies. I think the whole Highking of the Alliance and having humans lead the other races is so dumb.

For real though, according to what the “High King” is meant to represent, Genn should have been High King in Legion and BfA. In theory at least, it’s supposed to be the Supreme Commander of the Alliance’s army, which is exactly what Genn has been doing these last two expansions. Anduin has just being sitting around SW…

You are so right and I quoted you to highlight the problem with Anduin because literally anyone else but him would have been a good leader and would have done something beneficial to the Alliance I don’t blame people honestly for turning this game into World of Hordecraft we deserve it for having a wuss leader.

Unpopular opinion.
But the nigh elves should’ve been horde.
The night elves have a song made after an orcish hero, they revere broxigar and know about him.
The horde is much closer to nature than the alliance, Imo they should’ve teamed up with the horde for a much closer to nature faction.
The horde did fight with the night elves, but later they proved to be a good force and got into a treaty with them ( supplies and such ).
This treaty should’ve bridged an alliance between them.
Especially that tauren are super close to night elves.
I think blizzard did mess up big time when they let the NE be alliance. probably did it because they wanted 4 races v 4 races, but Imo they should’ve given the alliance something else.
