Shadow
- Focused Will provides 10% damage reduction for Shadow (down from 15%).
- Mind Blast damage increased by 15% (Shadow only).
- Mind Flay damage increased by 15% (this includes Mind Flay: Insanity, but not the proc from Idol of C’Thun).
- Mind Spike damage increased by 15%.
- Void Torrent damage increased by 15%.
- Devouring Plague damage increased by 15%.
Btw anyone else getting bugs when you get [Shadowy Insight] Procs when casting a mind blast that it disappears while on a cast so you can’t cast it.
(this includes Mind Flay: Insanity, but not the proc from Idol of C’Thun). Does that mean [Idol of Y’Shaarj] will be used now?

Good buffs sad no helping on Shadow crash xD man this is so boring.
I would kill for having the Legion shadow back dude…it was by far the best spec i have ever played…challenged maybe only by mop pvp arms warrior.
It was such a cool idea with ofc its flaws …but when you managed to play well it was rewarding as hell. Bfa wasnt too bad either and was actualy even more fun in dungeons than legion version…both of these sucked in pvp though…
But i feel like legion was last expansion when we had a dev guy who liked and cared about the spec…from its functionality to the artifact weapon …which was propably the coolest one of them all…not estheticaly but having it talk to you etc…these were good times…since that guy left, nobody followed and nobody knew what to do with the spec…so now we have this frankenstein of a spec stitched from a 3-4 different versions of shadow where none works.
At this point shadow just need two specs…mop/wod version vs legion/bfa. Just my opinion.

They should just go back to a WOD version as well it was fun back then too the only thing shadow lack is Dot spread and a secured way to keep them up
Shadow crash is kind of ok but they could do better I loved cascade.
Also loved having my cds instant cast like dark ascension only thing lacking now is they should make Dark Ascension do aoe dps as well when activated.
They have all this power and this dragonflight can’t be the final evolution of this class i think they can do 100 times better than this.

Honestly, the playstyle in SL with mind sear and Searing Nightmare was not really fun to play imo. I’ve read lots of criticism about this on the forums back then and I could imagine that Blizz changed it because of the way it feels to play.
And while shadow is undoubtedly in a bad place in PvE content, I do welcome the idea. Just that shadow now misses AoE damage, there ofc has to be some compensation for it. But I like that I don’t have to play around with mind sear and searing nightmare anymore.
they miss ST AOE any way to keep their dots up our dots are flat useless our CDS have cast timers on them and blizzard thinks we should give away Pi and get nothing in return for it meh

Still rock soild bottom went from rank 8 in SL Season 4 to rank 20.
They need to revert mind sear back and add another spender this does not work.
Even Bm hunters went from bottom dps to something soild lol.
Blizzard help this class now dire need of attention.

Ye ppl started pading ads with PL and this is the result. Single target is still poop.
Either they will address ST or Aoe but shadow can’t have both working xD

Only dps talent that pads us is PL besides that our ST require us to Play Void Bolt and Void Torrent to even be viable.
this integration of shadow compared to shadowlands sucks 7 buttons to press and you don’t even cast mind flay since you gotta spam devouring all the time like i feel bored of this specc it feels like a Legion rework to keep void form up you gotta spam devouring for ST and the set you need to spam Mind blast to get Dp to do damage and you can’t cast Mind blast while channeling Mind sear or mind flay which sucks…
Living Shadow did the same that PL does now and you said we shouldn’t have a Passive padding us i think they should just rework shadow its not even fun.
Its just a rework 1% wanted to be legion rework can blizzard make anything besides legion for once.

But… Dark ascension is literally better for single target. High movement you might find VF better, but regular ST and most raid fights you’re running DA.
This plays nothing like legion.
We’re middle of the pack ST. That’s far from a problem.
We got to spend 25 Insanity to keep void form up and cast void bolt is mandatory now else our dots goes away its just very legion like in anyway. Only difference is the insanity works other way around.
Its just not fun to separately dot everything when you had a dot cleave that was unlimited and this one can miss as well if you got a tank that runs marathon, The 30 sec doesn’t help at all and mind sear cost insanity is unfun when tank has 30 adds you got to wait or separately dot everything meanwhile everyone is having a ball.
I will wait and see if the ret rework is better than this D tier class rework.
only due to mobility lacking and stable aoe interrupt feels as if priest in general got the short stick this expack
we got sat out by the dev team in general.
heres hoping the next rework works better than this fiesta our aoe just feels frustrating more now than before.
