Honestly. Shadow is aactually extremely good now. Its a straight up good specc now.
It seems to do great damage but i still dont like playing it : (.

I wouldnt say its rotation is awkward, however yes, shadow does have alot of abilities.
Casting spike as your primary filler and therefor needing to dump spike procs when youâre standing still instead of fill with flay and wait for a better moment does feel pretty awkward. Otherwise the st rotation is fine.
yeah It might be top for people, but the aoe rotation and them adding 3 more buttons for aoe feels frustrating at best.
Ainât complaining about the dps its the rotation that feels overqualified they should just rework shadow back to the roots instead of spending class.
Give us back unlimited dot spread and make so it donât miss.
This compared to SL s4 feels weird just saying

also having no blinks feels stale.
To me the whole mind fly available when mind spike picked feels and is weird to start.
This bloats our tree with not so fun paths and choices.
The psychic link idea I love and to me it fits with the shadow fantasy of getting into peopleâs heads, And this in combination with dot damage and maybe a bigger focus towards idol of nâzoth is my ideal path if they made that work
Mind spike could then have an AOE added talent for the proc to improve the rotation .
I would love it more if all abilityâs including devouring and mind sear did damage on PL tbh.
The dps rotation on aoe feels staggered compare to SL when you had mind sear right of the bat.
It just feel like they took 10 step back in the playstyle department. Dont like shadow crash it has a frustrating miss chance and slow cast timer they could had made it apply more dots than 8

It feels weird that this is the first time shadow feels so out of touch literally we have too much going on at the same time.
It feels like a stressed up remake that of which blizzard carebear went away and instead we got this mash up freak talent build like do we even use mindbender anymore.

No unlimited secured dot spread shadow crash is forced on to you like its something good which it aint.
Halo and divinestar deals nill damage. you are forced to play void bolt and Void torrent.
I havenât specced voidform or mind sear in mythic+ for 2 weeks. I would do comparable, possibly even better damage in some keys if I was more flexible with my talents but what Iâm doing is fun for me and does great damage / more relevant damage for the targets I care about.
Youâre so hung up on how you think things work that you canât see that the reality is very different.
Void torrent is very strong, sure, but isnât that what you wanted? A powerful mass AoE burst damage tool that generates resources and has a 30-60 second cooldown.
In SL you didnât have to play Shadow crash you could spam mind sear SN and be good anyway now in this expack if you donât hit Shadow crash you are literally gimped.
I dont see eye to eye with its class designers it feels like a Legion rework. Why force abilitys down on you that you dont like.
The specâs gameplay is so far removed from Legion it genuinely baffles me every time you bring this up. You donât even need to play voidform for a single piece of content in this game. (Ignoring the fact Voidform now is nothing like what it was in Legion)
Idk whever to spam mind spike or Mind flay anymore also PL is a pain why not buff it to work with all abilitys (includeing Mind bender Mind sear, Shadow Word death and devouring) So that you dont have to pick void torrent then. They could even nerf it PL down to 40% also dont like mind spike.
I think I need to file for whiplash after that non sequitur.
well once the devs hit rock buttom they can only make the class better from there and this is rock bottom. Hope the paladin rework is better than this clunk fiesta.
