Well I enjoyed it before 2022 at least. In Dragonflight they made it less RPGy, but in TWW they removed almost all friction. It’s actually weird that you tell me this, because Blizzard changed the game in extreme ways in 3 years. I understood account-wide reputation, but that’s about it. I log in and it’s all just about rush, pop-ups everywhere, full visual pollution, all friction gone to “save time”, 30 buttons, etc. What the hell happened to this game
You wont get a blue post about the issue. They clarified their position and that’s it.
I personally would love to see everyone given the opportunity to get old items that they’ve effectively removed from the game.

Not really, as that clarification goes against themself when they reintroduced the mount and transmog set in their originality. So still waiting for a justification of their choices, as mentioned, theres loads of places where there is an outrage about this, from all sides, those for, and against.
Edit: So getting an answer to it all, I think is the right move.
Sounds like MoP wagon is where you wanna jump at then, since current WoW doesn’t sound appealing to you, from how you word yourself, correct me if I’m wrong.

No, I saw MoP already. It’s not exciting to play something whose lore I already know and whose raid tiers I farmed in retail by oneshotting the content already. My sub’s expiring in a couple of days anyway, so you won’t need to hear my disapproval after. However, you’re not the one to decide, if my disapproval is valid

Yup, I’m genuinly curious about such a strong statement they made, about exclusivity and such. And seeing the backlash, and comments from both standpoints, those for and those against it coming back, I think Blizzard the least, owe us some kind of clarification, and justifications to their actions of what they bring back and not, and what prestige/exclusivity and such is in their eyes, compared to ‘‘us’’ normies.
You will be waiting for a long time then for their clarification.
You vastly overestimate the “backlash” since everyone kind of knew that MT appearances were not coming back.
MoP came and went, and challenge mode sets did not make an appearance. There was the regular whining on the forums about FOMO, but nothing happened. Seeing that, if someone expected MT appearances to return, then he was not paying attention.

Probably, but doesn’t hurt to voice out a question.
There were always hope that they will come back ‘‘you think you do, but you don’t’’ remember? And bringing back other exclusives, kind of set it all off.
You’re right about that one, but that doesn’t mean it can change in the future, or if they chose to go back again on their words with MoP classic, and let all gear obtain become account wide, who knows.
edit: with the direction this game is going, it’s just a matter of time it seems like.
i have mt and chosen and i say bring it back.
as for the aotc mount it was giving free from boosters in the birb community world wide i was part of the eu group and many others from the forum were too.
chosen was tough tbh as belya mythic was nasty fight so i am glad the set is coming back.

Marketing strategy.
They can respond now, and change it to include the Mage Tower rewards. That’d lead to a bump in attention for Legion Remix for a couple days. But good news passes fast, so that won’t last and everyone forgets about it quite quickly.
Bad news, complaints, etc, last much longer. You keep Legion Remix in the picture, for free.
So even if they would change it, it’s probably not going to be made public too early, to not let the attention fade away too quickly.
Hmm good take, who knows. I just hope we get an answer to their decisions on it anyway.
Maybe they used that post to bump it like you said, see how many are for and against, to take a decision, coming with something like
Dear players, we have heard you. And we will take back our statement, and rerelease Mage Tower within the Legion Remix, to give everyone a second chance to obtain the artifact appearances

What don’t you understand in the first blue post? They said they do not add the legion mage tower apperances. What is hard to understand in that message? Really?

they don’t need to give you or others any reason. And yet they actually did if you bothered to read all the blue text and some of the interviews they made.
So tell me, since you know it, what is exclusivity, and why bring back an aotc mount, and a mythic transmog? Aren’t they prestige/exclusive to season/expansion? Please do tell, as I haven’t deep delved into interviews, nor blueposts. But it seems like you have?
Thats the thing nobody knows and Blizzard is free to comment or withhold comments on the mater. Whenever its “good for the PR” or not is another debate altogether but its not a court hearing either where Blizz is forced to answer every question. They can simply say “We are not bringing it back and deal with it”.

There were a Blue post earlier on, google it or search wowhead. For example they said that one of the reasons for mage tower is that they don’t want let people oneshot the challenges with all the power they gain like in panda remix. And no, you couldnt one shot it back in legion either, even though some "people " said they could. It also means that blizzard thought of it and it might come back in a later stage or as reskins. The last interpretation is my own.
As for the aotc mounts they have done this previously as well, so that is not something new.
Do players need to know all that blizzard do? no… You dont have to send text messages to your friends or family once you decide to put on a yellow shirt, when you clearly like green ones?
But that could be worked around, something called scaling.
Just to wait and see.
Still doesn’t make sense why they do it.
But you could still do it, if that is what you feel like asking your close ones. Also, not really a good comparison to this at all.
