Can Alt + Z which hides the UI just… hide the names as well? I SWEAR it did, for a while, but now it doesn’t anymore.
You’re vibing, you wanna take a screen, you press Alt + Z but for some reason the names are still there. Then you gotta fiddle with the Interface options to disable them and put them back on when you’re done.
Please. It’s a win/win. More people taking screenshots is a good thing.
how about you keybind hiding names to alt x ? not very hard is it sweety
How can you bind an UI function?
There’s no ‘Toggle names’ that I can find.
Isn’t that nameplates?
I’m talking about names above NPCs. Those don’t disappear on ALT Z
Make a macro, drag it to your bar and bind that to Alt-Z.
/run local n="UnitNameNPC"local x=1-GetCVar(n)SetCVar(n,x)SetCVar("UnitNameFriendlyPetName",x)SetCVar("UnitNameEnemyPlayerName",x)SetCVar("UnitNameFriendlyPlayerName",x)ToggleFrame(UIParent)
In Wotlk there is such an option. Should be one in Retail as well
Interface - Names - NPC Names
The option exists, the point is that you need to spend time going into your UI every time you want to take a picture when really it should just come with ALT+Z
Almost there, could you please make it remove player and critter names as well?

I only do Gorilla Glue, I don’t like the others.

I’m sure the others don’t like you, either
No I got beaten once by Flexi Glue, ended up with a broken rib.
Then there was the Loctite which poked in my eyes and now I have PTSD.
Gorilla glue is the only one so far who has been kind to me. It has protected me from the other evil glues.

When even glue doesn’t want to make bodily contact with you
