I mean that Augmentation, despite being categorized as damage dealer by the game, is a support role which mathematically has been proven in optimal cases to be better and more efficient for a group composition than any other damage dealer. It is the exact same case as having exactly 1 tank in every 5man group for optimal results; 2 tanks is non-optimal, 0 tanks is non-optimal.
Same hasn’t happened for healers though as there have been some very fringe cases were having 0 healers and 4 damage dealers instead was optimal.
If there were more support-oriented specializations, we would likely see those picked as well for 5man groups.

This is due the the constantly repeatable content that m+ Offer
- 8 dungeons per season with 4 being old content …
- Fast paced dungeons-designed that you need an average 20-25 min to complete
- Pinata RNG Vault 1 per week or to say time-gated content ( the only way to get some gear and most of the time =me 3 weeks i got the …gold token:D
I could add more …like toxicity, class-spec deniable , ilvl matters and io score that make majority of people making a specific range at what people can play depending just on some numbers…
At the end the numbers are here … very low attendance …a bad model that cannot keep the player base and we are already at a very low total players active in this expansion .
Since the game has become seasonal there is no character growth or anything related to MMO …New season =new restart … Even if im going to reach 639 at the end of this season .(i doubt) my fresh 80 lvl 511 ilvl within 1st week of Season 2 going to have 640+ ilvl just by doing world content and some hc dungeon . veteran gear goes at 642 ilvl )
No wonder in Darkshore(Classic ) right now have more players at the range 10-18 that the total people in Lf for m+ .
This is the one thing that actually makes me lose interest in WoW. M+ is really fun to me but I just can’t cope with the time gated RNG gear aquisition once per week.
I can cope with all other issues but my gear progression and thus also partially my overall progression depending on “ololol rng ololol” makes me just want to quit.
The Vault is so horribly designed, it’s just infuriating.
