Yeah this absolutely killed my desire to play on Jin’do, I was having a lot of fun with my dungeon levelling group but I sincerely doubt any of us are willing to keep playing there. Way to ruin a Friday and a server, Blizzard-Activision. You outdid yourselves again.
Thank god for an actual smart comment, I was starting to lose hope.
This decision was a good decision, people don’t know what’s good for them.
And again and again, drama, frustration and anger on pvp servers, this never changes
That why wow dieing. They just want to make classic like wotlk. Anyone with any age can preference that transfer will mono faction this 2 fresh server. They just dont care
what were you expecting, they opened jindo because of thekal queue, it’s logical to allow thekal players who are not able to play to join another fresh server
Then say that day 1 so we don’t waste 3 days levelling, mostly the same class we already have.
That’s the thing with logic : many who invoke its name are in the wrong.
Blizzard said “no transfers” 3 days ago. Many people started fresh on Jindo. The queue of Thekal become shorter. That was good. That was logical.
Blizzard then said “[Removed], let’s destroy faction balance”, opened the transfers from a server that had very short q times compared to before Jindo’s launch, and wasted the time of many who A) played Alliance (on a soon to be Horde dominated Jindo) and B) played the same class on the same faction, 2 times. That was not good. That was illogical.
TL;DR : If Blizzard wanted Jindo to be the solution of the queue time problem, they should have done nothing. People were already rerolling on Jindo. Everything was fine. But if they really wanted to open transfers, they should have waited a full week at the very least. Or straight up open the transfers from day 1. Nobody would have wasted their times then.
Totally ridiculous. I can hardly believe how they screwed up this fast…
huge communities of dozens or hundreds of people were divided just becaues of 10hour queue time, think of it like jindo is just copy of thekal and it already on for 2 weeks, all ur mental problems should be fixed now
because thats what it is supposed to be
imagine 100 friends playing on thekal, and there are in all level ranges 1-70
and multiply it by 100. Thausands of people were split up, and giving them all posibility to transfer to 1 realm and play with no queue was a super solution
they ofc shouldnt allow to do so i guess just because 1 or 10 random people who are lone wolfs have some issues
they did so good in that case, but in opposite to that they screwed up other servers with free transfers closure, like half communities couldnt get to transfer to mograine because they just closed it like that… its a real problem, not a freaking jindo, which u can just imagine is just 2 week working server of thekal refugees
this was an incredible experience. now its ruined. legit so annoyed. fresh start my a**
Was that an attempt at communicating with us ?
No? Go ask those guys on thekal with more than 25000 gold and fully decked characters OMEGALUL (there’s proof of such examples on youtube, no need to advertise any of them). And those guys can now transfer to Jin’do if they want.
It’s so sad for the new players who believed it was going to be “even playing field”. But for the rerollers, I feel no pity; they fully deserve Blizzard’s treatment.
And don’t you think that people from Jin’do will end up with that ammount of money in a few weeks too? A matter of time.
The problem is IMHO the timing.
If they had opened the transfers at day 1, no one would have complained, because everyone knew it would be just Thekal 2.0
If they had opened to Wrath release, less people would have complained, because many would have been 70 already and it would have even out more.
But now there are fully equiped lvl 70 on a 2 day old realm, and that´s not the experience one would expect from a “fresh” realm.
On a 2 day old realm you expect to level and quest, do some pvp vs other player in your level range, and not a bunch of lvl 70 ganking an camping everything.
The balanced factions and “fair” world pvp delusion still going I see … good … good.
Weren’t people complaining that Thekal was quite unbalanced just a few days ago, even before the new server?
It’s true, its not 90 days at all.
It’s basically 0 since people are still starting pre-wrath.
I’m amazed anyone is surprised, Firemaw incident literally happened weeks ago.
It makes 2 weeks of difference, in 2 weeks time you would have the same thing on Jin’do. I’m not saying it’s a good thing, but I’m also not sure that 2 weeks of “extra freshness” is more important than fixing the server queues.
Either way, why would anyone be surprised at this I dunno. Blizzard let the entirety of Firemaw Horde transfer to Gehennas for free.
as I was saying all along fresh is pointless
Imagine waitign in queues most of the day all week to get on thek’al !
but at least Jin’do had some hope, until that got ruined gg
Thekal was fine.
Something around a 60/40 Alliance/Horde ratio, which I would consider balanced even if Alliance is a bit favored.
I am very worried about the transfer though.
I really don’t want to end up on a monofaction realm, that in the worst case I can’t even escape from.
lol just arrived in jin’do and it will be a future dead server if this free transfer aint on for atleast a month.
