By abandoning Season of discovery without even a minor update or balancing patch as well as some QOL changes shows that you are both grossly negligent & incompetent. People don’t want MOP classic, they didn’t want Cata either. Retail is toxic & you have the audacity to wonder what it is that has pushed up private server numbers in the last few months. You could easily have kept SOD going whilst spinning up classic + development, this would have kept people interested and engaged. These latest actions are clutching at pearls when you could be bringing people on the journey to Classic +. As it is i’m not sure you can deliver a worthy successor to SOD.

The problem is in their big corporation “effective management” , when they have 4-5 employees working in classic team, they can’t afford to continue working on sod and making classic+ in the same time. So they just decided to do MoP (that requires not many work, as they already have all files and need just make some minor changes) and anniversary to win some time with low effort. But classic+ requires real work, so with limited resources they need a lot of time to make it
You are quite correct. In my haste i’d forgotten that blizzard was a small indie developer.
I think all the people playing MoP classic, disagree with “People dont want Mop classic”.
I could be wrong though.
