I have no problem owing my own position.
I love playing WoW and I speak positively about the game. I am fond of Blizzard and appreciate the products they make. And I gladly pay for them.
That’s called being a happy customer.
Your position is a bit harder to own, which is why you don’t try.
You QQ about WoW and Blizzard all the time.
You don’t like the game. You don’t like the company. You don’t like the developers. You don’t like the costs.
And despite all that, then you keep hanging around, spending your time, attention, and money, on something you seemingly don’t appreciate at all.
As opposed to making a thread crying about ignoring people on the forums? Or deliberately coming into threads of people you dislike?
I suppose you figured out by now where that ignore button is.
I am happy playing classic.
The rest smells like a cope to me though.
I am not projecting, I know where your stances lie.
It’s good that you enjoy the game, but you don’t need to lie to yourself why you love Blizzard as a corporation so much.
Also funny when you project onto me having no spine because I buy a sub to play Classic.
Hmmhmm yeah.
And people can’t show displease with the product they bought?
You can criticise things as a customer, it’s my every right.
It’s you who has no spine, take those words back. Because apparently you can not critcise company of anything.
Depends on your own time management. If you buy a 6 month sub before hand. If you do not play for 4 weeks spread out over those 6 months, even missing a few days here and there, you lose money or would have paid the same price for the same product.
It’s because Blizzard have made some of the best entertainment experiences in my childhood, youth, and adult life.
= Fanboy.
I consider your posts a joke because you complain about random things that you could choose to care less about if you wanted. But you don’t. Like I said, then you wallow in self-pity.
If they have a post history packed to the brim with criticism and complaints, then I think the customer should act on their conviction instead of just complaining ad nauseum.
Isnt that your own stupid fault for paying for something in advance? Do you buy 6 months of food in advance and have to throw it away when it goes bad?
So you are content with them doing anything they want, because you lack the spine from your childhood to accept that Blizzard got taken over by Activision and greed.
All the guys that made your childhood so great already left the company sweaty. It’s time to wake up.
But ultimately, who has the spine here?
The joke here is that you think these are just “random things”.
The product and the quality of the game as dropped severely.
We saw a rise of increased store mounts added to the shop.
China and their unethical business practised meddling their way into Blizzard Entertainment too.
I am still enjoying Classic. I am free to voice my opinion and stance on everything else as a customer too.
You defend Blizzard in your free time, I criticise them.
Well do you know beforehand wether or not you get bored or not from the game in advance, or that the content they put out is still extended?
I do not pay for 6 months in advance.
I also fail to understand this “hater” logic. If you don’t like a product or the company or whatever then just don’t buy it? Simple? Hate WoW, Blizzard, the CEO, employee John who parks in the wrong spot every day? FINE. Then just don’t pay the sub.
If I hate a brand X coffee then I just…don’t buy it? Instead of buying brand X coffee, only to throw a tantrum on how bad it is…and go back to the shop and buy more to be angry about it? Like…c’moon already?
So why are you complaining? I dont understand How does this affect YOU?
Or are you here to champion for the rights of the poor downtrodden wow community?
A quite simple thought, but in advance it indirectly affects you. It’s a hassle to write out in one single comment, but it comes down to corporation lowering quality of product or lowering the investment and cost into the game. Because they make more money from selling quick products off the side like Microtransactions or these deals.
So in the end, Blizzard lowers their time and investment in the game. They start recycling content, like we are seeing with legendaries and abilities from previous expansions making a return. Recycling content, artificially time-gating content to spread out over weeks or months.
People are quite naive, and a bit selfish to think that they do not make an impact as a customer in a multiplayer game. You do not live in a bubble. You indirectly effect your environment you live in.
That is some critical hit here, true that:the people making wow glorious left the ship long ago , well i do not pay for a six moths either not just because i have imp in a ball from tcg on that char but you never know they might unbalance things in tbc classic so i better be carefull.
Listen here. If I were in your position and the only thing I cared for was playing WoW Classic, then I’d make a desktop shortcut to the game and just press and play whenever I felt like it.
All the rest? The forums and fansites and news updates and interviews and blue posts? I’d just stay far away from all of that and completely ignore it and focus on just playing WoW Classic and nothing else.
But you indulge in your misery. You seek out the stuff you don’t like rather than ignore it and focus on that which you enjoy.
I swear, the WoW forum community is so pathological, they’ll literally complain about anything. There is currently no other online game that is as free from itemshop garbage as WoW. Maybe Old School Runescape and possibly EverQuest. No other. People complain about WoW and then go play PoE, get hyped for New World and Ashes of Creation - all games that we know will have an extensive itemshop. WoW adds 2 new mounts a year and you lose your mind. As long as your mentality doesn’t extend to the industry as a whole, it is obvious it is purely pathological and not in fact real. It is because we hate Blizz, not because Blizz does anything bad really.
It doesnt affect me at all. I dont have a 6 month sub. I dont want the toy.
I have been enjoying SL more than most other expansions i have played for the last 15 years.
Now i appreciate that this is MY opinion which is why i dont go around stating that this is the best xpac ever, like it is a fact.
I have noticed a lot of people running around on these forums saying that its the worst xpac ever and expecting everyone else to accept this as a fact.
The simple logic here is that if Blizzard were as greedy as you seem to be trying to tell everyone, they would do away with ALL deals that reduce the sub price and make everyone do a 1 month sub. but they dont do they?
In fact offering an additional incentive for people to sub at a lesser cost seems to destroy your “EVUL GREEDY BLIZZ” theory in one hit!!
So i dont need you to tell me if something is affecting me, i am quite experienced enough to understand if it does or doesnt. And as a normal human being i also understand that a companies SOLE purpose is to make money, when you strip away all the other rubbish this is why they exist.
If you are so hung up on greedy corporations why arent you outside of Jeff Bezos house with a placard??
But I don’t like Mitch anyway. He and his cronies as well as progressives, especially AoC, are the worst things in American politics. shudder
As for the toy - people said they wanted some changes to tBC, and the very first change Blizzard can think of is “LET’S MONETIZE IT MORE”. What a bunch of garbage. Shame on you, Blizzard! If there were one kind of change that community didn’t want, this was it.
Indulging in misery? More like frustration and hope that Blizzard can not get their greedy hands off everything. Hope that retail might become better one day. You still enjoy retail, props to you. I barely log into it anymore.
But you are right about one thing. It’s useless to complain at this point. It falls on deaf ears anyway. But I find it sad to see so many people defend these business practices, seeing the game you love and liked taken over my corporate greed and political activists.
True dat to your comment. A toast! A toast I say! Let Blizzard live long and Bobby’s yacht collection grow more bigger.
It’s not free bucko. You need to stop phrasing it like that. You don’t get it for free.
