As long as they let me keep my 1 month purchases at a time and dont force me over to something like this, I’m not too bothered… Yet.

You buy a 6 month sub as a product itself and the toy comes free along it. You didn NOT pay anything extra to get the toy included.
Its the same as buying a phone for 500 eur and the shop gives you a toaster for free alongside it. You know go to social media and complain that the evil shop sold you a toaster for 500 eur?..ignoring the fact that your main purchase was the phone.

Ok…for the last time. I paid the 6 month sub cause I WANTED to sub. Blizz gave a free toy extra. So I get a 6 month sub AND a toy for the price of just the 6 month sub.

Ok it should be clear to everyone reading this now that you dont have a point here… you are being deliberately evasive even though you know that this is an extra item that has no additional cost other than the sub that has already been purchased.

I would say his “logic” is behind the argument that the toy is only obtainable from the 6 month sub, hence we are “forced” to have sub and blizz is secretly stealing money from us, purposely making bad product? … I dont know.

A service that existed prior to the toys / mounts.
It’s incentive and sure, some people are going to fall victim to the marketing and realise they don’t actually want to play for 6 months and in 4 months time quit and waste money.
Imagine I’m a Hot Dog vendor, and I sell plain hot dogs for £1.99
One day I add onions to my Hot Dog and it’s still £1.99. Are you going to say you’re not paying for onions and expect me to sell the plain hot dog for £1.80? Of course not, the damn Onions are free, take them or leave them, the Hot Dog remains £1.99
I don’t buy it, but if I did i’d probably be better up on the deal. I get a cheaper monthly rate and a mount / toy, and I’ll probably be playing in 6 months regardless, so honestly I probably should subscribe to it (but I don’t mostly because I’m too lazy)
You need a sub anyway, and i dont think thats much of a secret.
