it gives you the wrong idea if you look at the friend list and you see green icons on mobile users since those people are not actually on the PC.

It shows them available for chat on the app. It’s not about being available in game since Bnet is about multiple games. I have conversations on my phone quite a bit (usually coz I cba to move from the sofa to answer a whisper)

well, maybe i am wrong and unintentionally trolling. i am a matter of fact person most of the time and my behavior can come across as offputting/rude (trolling?). so my apologies.

i dont see how an icon change would make a difference. it doesnt magically make more people appear in game on your friends list.
but to be honest i dont really understand the argument op is trying to make in the first place as it seems quite contradictory. so if Abyzou would come back and kindly explain their point again, who knows, maybe i d even agree.

Hmmm, never seen it as an issue myself. Some dont log off their battlenet app on pc either and shows as online when they are not on their computers aswell Its easy to see who is actually online and playing wow.
