Blizzard Is Punishing EU Players for Blizzard’s Own Failures

All of this pasta the OP has cooked for us is immediately shattered against the fact that US Grobbulus has been a balanced PvP realms all along, yet it has a meagre 5% of US population. If the picture he is trying to paint were true, if people actually wanted to do WPvP, then Grob would be by far the largest realm now. But it’s not.

The monofaction situation is not a consequence of Blizzard’s neglect, it’s the players’ choice and a consequence of unpopularity of WPvP among the general population

So what if they are?
Its covering the cost to operate the realm.
Leave them alone they don’t want to play with you.
So hard to understand?
Thats why they are getting a PVP Server in the US faction capped.
So it doesn’t destroy my point it proves it.

Pandaria US Grobbulus has a 2500 to 2600 ratio.

I didn’t object to what you, Perìdot, are saying.
I was replying to the OP who claims that

and also that

In some way he tells the truth if there is a faction capped PVP realm in the making naturally many players from these Magaservers will go there and create characters just for that kind of gameplay it offers the auctionhouse will be filled make it eu wide.
And done you will see atleast 3-5k as ratio on both sides instantly comming back because people even quit because of the monofaction **** in this regard.

Such realm has always been around in the States. It’s not technically faction capped but it’s balanced anyway. Yet people are not joining it on masse. Clearly what he’s suggesting is false, unless you assume that Americans are a different breed of humans that are just built different

People who wanted to play the game fled Grobbulus because of the problems the “world pvp” aspect caused. This guy gets it.

In what kind of world are 7k players small?
Thats private server numbers litteraly in subs.
If you merge the auction house you remove the need of convinience and a lot more will join.

Nastacia your argument is so stupid it beggars belief. People blatantly DO want faction balanced PvP servers. That is why in SoD they were multitudes more popular than the PvE servers, and why after the success of the SoD servers and Blizz used them in Anniversary, they were again multitudes more popular. We have recent factual proof that this is the case - what are you even talking about

You forget one thing. Vanilla Classic and SoD by its proxy is a whole different game than MoP. You want to recapture that feeling which will not happen on Progressive Classic anymore. World PvP died due to massive griefing. You cant ignore that. Even Grobbulus’ player count plummeted despite the fact that it is an RPPVP server where world pvp shoukd thrive. Yall just can’t behave and Blizzard said, its not againts TOS to dispell wbuffs etc. Let me quote one of the greatest memes of all time

“Your actions… have consequences!”

This damage was and is irreversible. The majority of the player base dont want to deal with that anymore. If you are denying it, you must be a flat earther as well because you purposefully go against sense and logic.

And where would these people come from? Where are they now? Are they lurking in the shadows waiting for a PvP server to drop? Balanced PvP servers existed for quite a while before disappearing in EU, why didn’t these people flood them and shoot their population through the roof while they could? Why is noone playing on Grobbulus, even though it is the same thing you are asking for now?

The answer is, they do not exist. They are a myth. You made them up. WoW is a PvE game, always has been and always will be. A fun little diversity activity is the biggest PvP can aspire to be in an MMO RPG. No noticeable number of people will ever leave the game over it or come back because of it.

I want to see a new PvP server just to watch it peak at 2000 players and laugh

I played SoD. The supposed “PvP” servers were in fact PvE as usual, with 90% of the people just minding their own business and 10% griefing the 90. Also people would whine on forums all the time asking for a transfer out to a PvE realm.

And I am not even talking about the fact that SoD and Anniversary are just a different type of game altogether with a different target audience

You just ignore the facts that twice on fresh launches people chose PvP server. Even after what you said about SoD, when Anni launched people chose PvP again.

Just completely ignore the facts and make anecdotal arguments the entire time. Laughable.

People roll on PvP realms because there’s an established tradition since 2004 that everyone always rolls PvP. People have to tolerate WPvP because the benefit of easily finding groups outweighs the negatives. How is this a real argument? This is basic WoW knowledge, I cannot believe I need to explain this

Huge cope. The truth of this story is that when for the first time they actually faction balanced the servers in SoD, a huge majority loved them and because it was such a good idea received so well that they did the same again on Anni. Where, again, it’s loved by the majority.

Had that experiment failed, they obviously wouldn’t have repeated it. People want PvP servers with 50/50 balance. Not 45/55, not 40/60 – 50/50. And more people want 50/50 PvP servers than PvE servers.

People just liked the idea of megaservers in general, not specifically the 50/50 balance.

Correction: more players play on 50/50 PvP servers than PvE servers. Big difference, one does not imply the other. Also it’s no longer the case for Anniversary where the PvE realms already hold 50% of the population, for the first time in the game’s history. Just around when they enforced faction balanced on “PvP” realms. Coincidence? I wonder how many people would stay on the Anniversary PvP realms if given an opportunity to transfer out.

Anyway, again, SoD and Anniversary are a different game with a different target audience

I’m absolutely certain you’re only coping like this because you know if Blizz listen and put a fresh PvP server in EU with free transfers to it as well as Mirage, your PvE server would be less populated. It’s probably too late now as they already announced the realms and people are organizing, but I’d love if they did it

Don’t bother arguing with them, it’s pointless. They literally admit how the majority will always choose PvP over PvE realms but still claim the demand for one, just one PvP realm on EU is too small. You also make a great point, they’re spamming their copium here because they know their PvE server would have much less pop if we also had a PvP megaserver. This is the type of player modern blizzard wants to attract to the game unfortunately

It just happens in Classic because the R14 gear is very good. Thats the whole reason.

Battlegrounds release = WPvP dies besides the griefers.

But yea you will have to go to Grobbulus NA for that now. HF

? R14 gear has no relevance to server choice in Anniversary. What are you even talking about. I mean that’s just total nonsense

Even Grobbulus is dying because of that. There are no proper events anymore because of the people who went there to world pvp ignoring every RP rulesets and then complain about them.
