We are talking about progression classic, this is the MoP forum, this version was once classic. The server populations stem from there.
So your argument is: that when Classic 2019 launched almost everyone chose PvP realms solely because they wanted R14 gear, and now over time they have decided they don’t want PvP realms they want PvE realms actually. And that 5 years after that, when Anniversary/Classic fresh re-launched everyone chose PvP realms again, even though R14 has no relevance at all?
Am I understanding that correctly?

As long as there is rewards for it they will go on a PvP server, once it is just a nuisance they rather leave - thats my argument.

It’s irrelevant because it’s equally as easy to get R14 gear on the PvP server as it is the PvE server and it was that way since launch. There’s absolutely zero benefit in being on the PvP server if you want R14

It didn’t matter because for Anni they changed the phases and the honor system was added at the same time as BGs. It was also capped to R11 at launch and increased to R14 on BWL release.

Are you serious? R14 gear can be acquired equally easily on both PvE and PvP realms since AV is the meta and bgs are crossrealm. What other justifications are you bootlickers gonna come up with?
And are you actually happy people who wanna play in a pvp realm are forced to go NA? Sickening people…

I dont care about it at all, so I am not happy about it either, its indifference.
I am just happy my server will stay PvE. And if we are honest EU doesnt even have a PvP server anyway so nothing changes for you.
Maybe you people just cling onto the prestige of playing on a spooky spooky 99/1 faction pvp server which is pathetic at best.
PvP in instances like any good PvPer does.
Not in daily hubs or when people are leveling.
If the choice is to merge all the players into one to have a healthy population or not do it to appeal to the 1% Wpvp babies then the choice is very very clear.
Although I will say they should make a PvP server as well you can transfer to. For the 500 people that want to participate in World PvP.

Here is a simply issue: Why, if PvP doesn’t matter, US got a PvP server and not EU?
Answer this simple question.
Same for RP server, I feel very sorry for that community despite not being part of it, see the PvE babies? It’s possible to show empathy and use logic even towards a group we’re not part of.
I would be the first one to defend you if in a parrallel universe they would change ALL the realm to PvP. I totally understand some don’t like it, and it’s totally ok.
But can we, on a game we, for the majority, have been paying for years and years juste have the CHOICE?

I do not feel any pity for people who constantly use disgusting ways into farming horde players on Gehennas. Like having five hunters camp the rooftops of Halfhill so that neither horde players nor the guards can reach you. Then just keep farming horde players coming on the FP no matter the level.
You guys want to know the funny thing?
In the PvP tab in game, the LFG, there is a “open world pvp” section, IMAGINE that level of contradiction? So we can all group up and what, spam strafe in front of unflagged people in the opposite capital? Come on…
Edit: and by the way still such a bad UI for pvp, for real…:
- 3 tabs: Bg, Wpvp (KEKW), others
- no arena tab
- no way to differentiate 2v2, 3v3, etc…
- no way to see rapidly already fully formed group
- no possibility to filter or sort rather than using keywords in the search and hoping for the best
Blizzard, I promise, hiring a junior or even a trainee should be enough to make something better and more functionnal…

Why dont you make a party with some mate and kill them ? Youre in a pvp serv if you dont participate to wpvp and complain about it your the problem.
Where did I complain? I just stated a fact of not being sorry for them.

I didn’t, what I believe to be disgusting is using tactics such as standing on braziers, rooftops and such in order to avoid NPC guards there to protect you from being ganked in certain areas. I have no issues with fair world PvP but when you as a larger group use such tactics as this guild do, yes I find that disgusting.

- this is impossible, guards shoot through walls and the roof, why would you discredit yourself in a such way lol
- this is easily bannable, this is the easiest report and ban
- I can confidently say that 99% of the alliance would never do this if it were possible, alliance owns Gehennas
