Blizzard killing their own game

So I started on Giantstalker when it launched 5 weeks before wrath launch. It’s been a blast. I originally didn’t plan to play wrath at all, but since blizzard decided to release fresh realms it made me change decision. However. It didn’t take long before the population starting to decline very quickly. Some quit and most have server transfered. Now recently they have opened a free server transfer from Giantstalker to Nethergarde Keep?? Why would you ever do that? And not have free transfer to giantstalker?

Here is how I understand it. Blizzard wants to “kill” their newest released server in order to justicy to allow character boosts and paid server transfer to these realms. The longer these realms are without botting service, blizzard are losing money since they exploit the service to their economic advantage.

After beeing delusional and ignorant for way too long. I finally realisme that blizzard doesn’t care about us as a player. They only want to squeeze every pennie out of you

As far as I remember it was flooded with bots already even before wrath release. I played giantstalker and quit quickly cause I just wanted to join fresh server hype but was never interested in wrath content.

That’s giving them too much credit.
They are, for lack of finding a better word, incompetent.
The majority working there is in the wrong line of work.
Or, less likely but very much possible: idiots. Low IQ morons, unfit for any job but flipping burgers or cleaning toilets.

So you all came back after 2 years, and now “show” Blizzard how serious you are by quiting - again. Yeah, clearly you are the target audiance they should aim for, the one that doesnt invest a dime but come with demands after God knows how much information on the subject.

Akara, did you just get back from a forum ban?

You seem to be spamming them again.

They were moved BECAUSE of zero input from players for a long, long time. Blizzard had to make a choice.

They don’t need your consent to move their characters, you don’t own them.

Us, the progression realm players warned all fresh realm players, that this is temporary solution as most of fresh belivers are very volatile crowd. Usually their attention and interest span is about 3 months, then they look for next hype wave (that was Dragonflight release) and sometimes some of them return briefly only in something fresh happens, like major patch.

If you have some percentage of such players on the realm that is bearable, but a majority of such players on the realm are the source of it’s downfall as soon as hype period ends.

Hello Dottie, I mean Blizzard employee.
I knew you were the one for reporting me simply by saying WE WANT OUR VANILLA CHARACTERS BACK!
I knew it LOL xD

I knew you were a Blizzard employee lol trying desperately to apologize taking away consent from users.

I don’t work for Blizzard, you seem to be a little paranoid. I doubt any Blizzard employees ever come here except to ban people. Some of your posts seem very aggressive.

It takes more than one report for someone to be banned, to hide a post takes 5 people, not characters but different people and if a post doesn’t break the rules they will not ban someone and will unhide the post.

Then how did you know so accurately that I was even banned? I’m a developer, I know how this stuff works on the back end.

Either way, what Blizzard did was really s***ty. Blame all you want, but Blizzard’s nonchalance (and your toxicity of blaming the victims) will just permanently turn off a lot of people.
There have been many threads here and on the US and reddit forums about this.

I (and I know that many others, judging from the comments and talking to people and my friends) will just go where we can play the game without char-deletion threat.

I don’t know why you have to be so aggressive of :anger:blaming the victims:anger:.

The gap in the posting dates?

The only thing I blame Blizzard for is not sending out an email telling people who had not chosen the expansion, for free, they may have wanted to play in the future were being moved to Wrath.

The time they let go by before doing it was more than enough to let people come back and choose. They then moved them to the expansion the realms would have normally gone onto, wanting to move to classic Era had to be an active decision.

And there is your problem, thinking of yourself as a victim. No matter how many times you post it won’t change what happened. So either quit or stop complaining.
