Blizzard laughing at players Hydraxian Waterlords

Blizzard opened transfer with Chromie on Flamegor. Chromie raids statistic 500ppl+, Hydraxian Waterlords <100ppl its incredibly, support says buy transfer or creat new hero. They take care of customers =)

These are two last Russian realms and PvE one is on the brink of collapse.

Why are they laughing at Hydraxian?
A few moments ago i was on Hydraxian chatting with people and they say that yes the servers isn’t super populated but it’s not dead either.

I don’t understand what’s going on.

Phase 3. A pretty short and relatively to Ulduar easy ToGC raid. A Content draught that will only be resolved with ICC release. Smaller realms are especially prone to temporary reduction of the playerbase during such periods.

There are people who are on this realm since 2019, and instead of using the FCT off when they were there, they decided to stick it out.
The realm never revived to it´s old size, but that was predictable. When we created our spy chars there last year, there were 25 online to prime time. It IS already bigger, as back then when we came  .
However, they are NOW mad, that there are NOW no FCT anymore and want NOW FCT again.

On top, player like the TO used the FCT offered to HWL (mainly for Roleplayer) and are now surprised that the realm is empty.
They COULD have figured this out with creating a toon first and check the realm (what we always advice to to).

Now they are blaming everyone else for their own decisions. :person_shrugging:
If you were talking to people who have fun on the realm, stick to those and ignore the rest.

I find it ironic when people blame others or an entity for their own mistakes or faults, don’t when live in the age of the internet, reddit, twitter, forums, discords and so on?
Is it that hard to make an informed research before making a decision one would regret?
I do it, in many things, i try to look for information, talk to people about it, make a level 1 character and have a feel of things on my own, check a few videos and read what a game is about before i spend money buying it. I’m one that loves to invest myself in things that interest me, i don’t like to waste time with stuff that doesn’t get my attention.
I think that, in this day and age, people in general are just lazy even more so when they have an answer right in front of them but it’s always easy when things fall on our lap with very little to 0 effort of our part.

Many just don´t assume that Blizz would offer a transfer to such a tiny realm.
And some probably think “it can´t become worse”

But since we´ve had some arrivals from EU realms last year on a german realm, and they were all surprised that “they speak german on this german realm!!”
:scream:
I´m not surprised by anything anymore.

Mistakes DO happen, that´s human.
The question is, how do i handle it.

For those who stayed:
They just had hope it would become better (for them).
It didn´t, and the question is, how to handle this now.
Personally, asking for something that would send the message “We are killing this realm” (what wouldn´t happen), is wrong.

Luckily we are not the devs to decide this

I don’t know what to do at this point if i may be honest with you.
I want to play Wrath as i never played this content before, same happened for Burning Crusade but it’s late for that now TBC has passed maybe one day i will get to try it if they release it again at some point.

I don’t want to be on a high pop server or a mega server, i get that people get a hard on of having thousands of people in their server, i don’t, i think those environments in more occasion than one will be places of toxic interaction.
I just want a server where i can play, where i can meet people, maybe make friends, a server where once i reach max level i can join others without issues do do the end game content that the expansion offers.

I don’t know where to go or what server to pick, i might as well give up on playing Wrath at this point.

As I said, try to get in touch with someone at Valhalla for example or the Knights (your best bet i guess right now if you want to raid later).

I think you are already on the HWL discord, at least the Wrynns should be linked there (their discord).
Even if they, at one point, open up FCT and everyone is moving away - you could just follow then.
I think on Alliance is at least someone who is playing on Auberdine, too, maybe i could just hand over your char name for the case of emergency

My main is in Auberdine, people are nice there, i managed to find a guild the day i PAYED my transfer to go there.
I am just around here because i have become more interested in RP servers, they seem to have something special about them, it’s the feel i get and i wanted to try playing in one of those RP servers.
I just want to know more about HW before i invest myself in it.

Either follow Malou’s advice or go Nethergarde Keep. It is the most low-pop PvE server. I feel it is too full, but then I am ‘hysterical’. My old guild from Classic went there at free transfer.

What was Malou’s advice?

Roll a character HW and talk to Knights of Wrynn (allyside)

it is dead mate

What does it mean dead to you?
Is the server empty?

You have to beg for 5man content or sit in /4 for hours hoping the 10-20 people online might be interested.

It lacks the mm of the O, its just “online”.

its a game designed for group content, and there’s not enough people for it

There are very few people “angry” that the population is low, from my experience, all these people transfer off.

The remaining players are really nice, but being nice only goes so far when you want to row a boat that requires multiple people or you are just going in circles on the water by yourself

I don’t entirely agree with @Iwakotai’s opinion, although I’m relatively new on Hydraxian.

You can start by checking the active guilds and joining one of them. That’s a huge step toward further networking. Invitations will (most likely) start popping up.

I think the main issue on Hydraxian concerning “not enough people to group with” is that many players remain guildless for their own reasons.

Hello Netany.
Aren’t you playing on Pyrewood Village?
How was your experience so far on HW?

Yeah maybe all 6 of them!
Such a shame that they remain guildless or the group-based content scene would be thriving!

Don’t get me wrong, if you PM and claw your way through discords you can maybe get enough people for the daily heroic.

People are often not involved enough to care about speaking about their experiences, people vote with their feet. And they are.
Most of the level 80s i’ve seen who levelled up on this realm have transferred off in the past week.

You can disagree with my opinion on the realm, but it will be a quiet room as you are almost at the point where talking to a brick wall is your only option on Hydraxian Waterlords.

Just don’t lie to people who are shopping for realms, the realm pop is “ghost town” level, where only the local villagers who all know each others names and are all involved in discords together.

You could say the entire realm has enough population for 1 barely functioning guild.

It is so fun that you for other realms always cite IF numbers. No one ever mention that numbers for HW in IF is rising - rapidly. Last three lockouts: 26 - 37 - 87. And Allyside is even better: 0 - 12 - 32.

Why you so angry at samall realm, yo know some like HW and call it home?

PS:
I think when you cite numbers least you can do is have them rigth., Now is online allyside 32 people with no guild, not 6.
