Hi, I’ve been told to contact support via live chat for an issue with my battle net account as Blizzard needs to verify my identity etc.

It seems I can’t go directly to live chat but can only open further tickets which will take ~1 day to be reviewed?

Chat time is limited to 1300 to 1600.

Is there a way to access live chat that I’m missing? Or will a GM contact me, hoping I’m free at those times?

You can do it via a ticket, they will ask for a photo or scan of some form of ID.

In cases where our live chat is not open we still deal with tickets around the clock - we can handle account verification issues via the attachments in the tickets (which get automatically deleted after an issue is replied to due to GDPR), to submit one, please click here
