At what point did they devs go … yeah that makes sense for horde characters …
Its like putting the alliance side of the quest in xroads
Alliance have their parts in Westfall/Barrens and Stonetalon Mountains/Loch Modan. Last time I checked Stonetalon Mountains were Horde dominated.
and the areas your quest parts are in do not require you to corpse run through guards, you can literally run past the guards without aggro
Barrens - ratchet flightpath makes this trivial for alliance.
Stone talon mountains - both factions have flight paths, but more of a walk for alliance.
Westfall - horde have to run from another zone, no flight path
Loch modan - no flight path for horde again running through 2 alliance zones, have to run past alliance guards , alliance NPCs to get to the place.
I would say overall this is alliance favoured.
Changing Stone talon to tirisfal/silverpine might of made this slightly more even, in the annoyance of travelling to opposite faction zones.
On a similar note. Please.move dmf away from goldshire, guards a oppressive at the current player cap
Most of the SOD stuff is alliance favourited, thats just how it is. Deal with it
especially dungeones we had to grinf, like wc, sfk, rfd, scarlet
Thats vanilla, not SoD introduced
Lol ok.
/10 char
Devs are biased in favor of Alliance in P2 as well, what a shocker.
Scarlet Monastery, Shhhh.
because in vanilla sfk or rfd is our endgame to farm
We have flight points to stonetalon tho, and it isnt in guard infested terroritory. The sleeping bag even in guide notes are known to be more irritating for horde.
Deadmines, shhhhh.
It is 1 quest, you do it once and its done.
You can compensate it for having all the dungeons (RFK/RFD/SM) right next to your cities.
Alliance has to run 45 minutes every time they have to go to SM so 1 quest is not even comparable.
Not my problem
1 quest ? pmsl
How about a large majority of the runes were in alliance zones?
RFK and RFD isnt even remotely close to orgrimmar, its 3-4 times the distance that DM is to SW.
This nelf
It takes 30 seconds to fly to camp taurajo from TB and 1 min from orgrimmar. Then from taurajo it is a 2 mins walk.
From SW to RFD you have to fly booty bay for 5 mins, take a boat, which is probably 5-10 mins to ratchet, then run on foot from ratchet to RFD which is another 7-8 mins.
Cry more baby boy.
30 secs and 1 min ? Do you even play horde
Majority of runes in alliance areas … Warriors and locks alone had to travel to redridge of all places to get their runes … No horde fp even remotely close
Massively better pre bis phase 1 rewards from alliance quests … DM/SW/Stocks ring and Loch modan Ammo/Quiver just to name a few
Flavour quests added to SOD in alliance areas …
Significantly better leveling dungeon in alliance main city …
Main alliance leveling hubs right next door to each other, Elwynn, Redridge, Westfall and Duskwood. You dont even have to roam far from SW to hit 30
Grouping is easier due to a higher population
AH is stocked and prices are cheaper again due to a higher population
Most of the resources needed for end game pots phase1 were alliance areas only
Paladin buffs, Salvation and fear ward to name others
Gnome bonus to engineering is giving them access to game changing tools that no other race will have access too in each current phase, Ice Deflector(absorbs 600 frost damage, reducing damage potential from mages and shaman), Discombobulator Ray(Transforms the target into a Leper Gnome, reducing its melee and spell damage by 40 and its movement rate by 20% for 12 sec.), and Portable Bronze Mortar(Inflicts 85 to 115 Fire damage and stuns targets in a 5 yard radius for 2 sec.)
Then this phase they’ll have access to the Goblin Bomb Dispenser, Gnomish Battle Chicken, Rose Colored Goggles, High Explosive Bombs(another stun), The Big One(another stun), Gnomish Mind Control Cap, Gnomish Death Ray, and the Sniper Scope(+7 damage to guns and bows).
Warriors and rogues run classic, and humans get sword and mace skill +5 to weapon skill is just insane, The BIGGER contribution though, is the reduction in glancing blows. Glancing blows vs level+3 are quite a hefty % of damage reduction, but vs level+2 i believe its far less significant, cant remember the exact numbers
… I don’t think i need to continue. Point has been proven baby boy
Think you forgot about Wailing Caverns, RFD and RFK all being within easy walking distance for you, let’s not forget SFK. Sure we have Stockades coupled with DM but hardly adds to your point. So – Shhhhh.
You have a flight point at the border of Feralas that is just a wee bit further away from horde flight points to RFD and RFK (only problem is the guards at the elevator, and from someone who’s had to walk through Aratahi and Wetlands just to ghostwalk after the tunnel into Loch Modan; Shhhhh…) and WC is hardly far away from Ratchet. Is it a ‘slight’ distance advantage for Horde? Yes. But not that massively.
