Blizzard... please... don't let phase 4 be like phase 1, 2 and 3

So… checking wowhead and looking at the various runes coming in phase 4 was enough for me to quickly realize that Blizzard has failed miserably (again!) in even trying to balance the classes for pvp. Unless Blizzard actually wants a class like warlock to be an absolute crap class in pvp in Season of Discovery, while other classes like for example shamans, rogues and paladins should be extremely OP (at least compared to affliction and destruction warlocks). If that’s Blizzard’s goal setting, then I have to congratulate them, because in that case, they’ve actually succeeded!

Of course… the runes and other class changes aren’t finished yet… things can still change before phase 4 starts. But anyone hoping that Blizzard might actually start even trying to balance the classes for pvp in Season of Discovery will likely be sorely disappointed. Blizzard doesn’t even seem to think about making pvp fair for everyone (for all the classes).

There are probably many players who actually wonder why there are pvp servers in Season of Discovery when pvp here is nothing but a big sad joke.

Either Blizzard should do their job and fix the major problems that exist in their game, or they should consider if they should start converting all pvp servers in Season of Discovery to normal servers. However, I really hope Blizzard is competent enough to consider the first of these two options.

Gosh, could you guys get good ? It’s been like 5th or 6th topic about ''warlock being bad ‘’ in the last couple of days. I won 90 % of my duels as a warlock on ptr so it’s obviously a skill issue

I don’t really get what you are talking about.

Warlocks are great in pvp, bulk and self healing with a pet.
They are amazing for solo pve and great at farming.
The cost is that they are worse in raiding.

I think the core problem with hunter/warlock/priest is the range, dots, and utility.
They become pvp gods if they are balanced for pve.

How would a warrior deal with the fact that you can from 40yd range in 1-3 seconds put so many dots on them that even if they win the battle they will die?

Being able to have more armor than a warrior tank while using dps gear and constantly self healing more than a shadowpriest is a great recipe for OP in pvp and bad in pve.

As always, classes are either good in pve or pvp, and if you try to fix that either they become terrible at both or gods at both, there will never be middleground.

No more changes. Blizz always says nothing is final but turns out 99% of stuff are final.
