sure, that’s why queues in anything are so long. And we met like 10 players per day in open world.
Anyway, that’s not even the main point. My point is DF sales were very low and now we have even less player than at the begining of the expansion.

Is this the same DF that Blizzard announced had retained more players than any other expansion release in their quarterly figures release recently?
When you play Alliance, it is longer queues.
Alliance side isn’t as active as Horde side in terms of PvE or PvP.
Literally in a Timewalking dungeon now on this Hunter and the queue popped after about 5 minutes
guess you dreamed about that. DF sales were the lowest. Way lower than shadowlands sales. Go check.
But it wasn’t like this. Not even at the start of the expansion. Its just a problem that appeared in this period. So your point is pretty much invalid.
It’s not invalid.
Your point is invalid about the game and queue times being dead.
Classic seems to be dead for me and I play on Gehennas
Maybe just admit that you don’t really know what your talking about in terms of this subject.
I have checked, maybe you should read what ive posted! Never mentioned sales, but actual retention of players.
Feel free to go looking for Blizzards last quarterly report, then come back and apologise.
Of course, you won’t because the truth would prove you wrong.
Edit… https://investor.activision.com/financial-information/quarterly-results
2022 Q4 results Blizzard…
I quote…
and post-launch subscriber retention in
the West is higher than recent expansions
I await your apology and reply.
oh, alright. My bad. Well, its the first decent expansion after a while, so it should retain players way better than the last expansions. But because sales were low, even if less players leave now, it will still feel very bad at queue times.
I dont mind apologizing when i miss read something, or im wrong about sometimes, dont worry. Im not an easily offended snowflake like 90 % of the retail population atm is.
But it doesn’t, its as busy now as i remember.
No, you’re just wrong and incapable of realising it.
Edit … my queue jyst popped, 3 mins in go figure, have fun
Im 90 % a pvp player. So im reffering mostly to pvp queue times. Or world pvp action. And i know for a sure thing is way WAY lower participation than lets say like 2 months ago. But pvp gearing having no progression in DF, may be a contributor factor.
Nobody’s cared about world pvp since 2005, in the days of Southshore vs Tarren Mill.
Big surprise there. /sarcasm.
The personality completely fits: Agressive, rude, unwilling to see reason or fact. Yeah. Just go do your silly PvP ‘battles’ and leave the real game to the real gamers.
well lots of people care. In the begining of DF world pvp started to be a thing again. It was pretty fun and very populated.
Like who?
Who cares…because I don’t remember a single person ever talking about world pvp in DF or WoTLK Classic in the build up to their releases.
Anyone who cares about such a minor thing, where said thing just dies in about a month should not be listened to, because your not important to the overall life span of the expansion.
real gamers dont play with bots only, just saying. Your whole personality it comes down to being easily offended. Of course you dont pvp.
All aspects of the game, whether classic or retail, are boring. You get the best PvP gear, then what do you do?
DF and WoTLK Classic are just the same game, in terms of PvP or PvE. Get the best gear, then what…?
I think you should look up what ‘bots’ are.
I don’t play with bots. I report bots when I see them.
Really? I’ve not been offended once by you though. Funny how that works, huh?
No; I’m not easily offended at all. I couldn’t really care less what you have to say because you are toxic and you spread toxicity.
Now… Let’s keep it ‘on topic’… Your opinion about the game is just as valid as anyone else’s and you asking for them to be ignored just because ‘you don’t agree’ is idiotic.
that’s the thing. It used to take a while until you get the best pvp gear. It felt like a journey. You felt like getting stronger and stronger with every slot upgrade. But not anymore. Now in DF you get to BIS gear in less than a day. Without doing any rating required/tasks or any kind of work. So of course its getting boring very quick.
Anyway, to answer your question, world pvp used to be a thing for high end geared players. Like going to start pvp wars at enemy capital cities. But sure, that’s getting boring as well. That’s why blizz needs to introduce more reasons to world pvp.
If by modernisation you mean not being able to do any of the hundreds of dungeons when levelling except for bfa then no thanks.
If by modernisation you think grinding rating and valour with infuriating mechanics and frustrated players then no thx.
It’s not about nostalgia it’s about the argument of what this game is supposed to be. One crowd wants a MOBAlike stress fest because they have too much time on their hands and no other ways of achieving that dopamine rush from finishing something difficult, the other camp wants to actually play a slow relaxing game with some rpg elements because lo and behold this is an rpg game.
Innovation and modernisation is a good thing, of course, but not everything new is better. WoW communities are in their thirties and forties for the most part. And I from what I know from the ppl I talk to, most agree it’s become too bloated mechanically and too shallow in terms of atmosphere and gameplay.
Again, you can only lfg for bfa dungeons…in world of Warcraft, the entire freaking world only offers bfa dungeons…it’s just an example of how modernisation and new changes aren’t the same thing
But why bother? Why waste time putting effort into something nobody has cared about since the introduction of battlegrounds?
