Blizzard please increase the item level rewards from warfronts

I really don’t get why warfronts in season 3 like darkshore still give a 400 for weekly quest completion and 355 reward for every match completed. not to speak about Stromgard normal of course. my point is … for most players besides to achievements hunt and to gear up alts quickly warfronts are useless for main chars… because it does not give anything good for you to use. blizzard please bump up the ilvl numbers every season. thanks

Current content is Nazjatar and Mechagon so the rewards shifted from Zuldazar\Kul’tiras to Nazjatar and Mechagon, which include better catchup Gear.

They aren’t that usefull anymore beyond being the only way to obtain the Season 1 and 2 glad/elite skins and a bit of azerite but that’s fine imo

heroic warfront quest gives a 430.

wish normal wins whould atleast give 415 tho

Heroic warfront giving 430 is already too much for how easy it is. It doesn’t need to be more rewarding.

And yes. I did the heroic. It’s just the normal warfront with a lot more waves. More annoying rather than difficult.

Oh my no! We must not get infinitely grind-able, high quality gear from anything as faceroll as warfronts.

They’re meant to bridge the gap between 120 and low-range M+, and that’s just fine. They do that job very well, and I recommend everyone gearing a character to hammer them until they cap out, because they are good RoI and un-lose-able.

You want higher ilvl; do M+. That’s available 24/7/365 and you don’t have to wait a week for them to cycle round again. It’s also harder.

Absolutely not. Do them for the achievements or whatever, not gear. Those should be big enough reason to do them.

Right now most people do it to complete the sets. That’s good enough reason given the fact that RNG sucks so much that I haven’t yet completed single Elite set from Stromgarde.

Also to paraphrase Ion “It’s ok if you finish up certain type of content and don’t have do it again.”. Not everything has to reward gear up to par with current tier/season. You don’t see the reason to do it then don’t do it. Stromgarde normal is Season 1 thing, Darkshore is Season 2 thing and Stromgarde HC is season 3 thing.

Oh… my… goodness. I actually agree with Ion on something.

I was always glad in times past when there was no point in doing 5-person dungeons beyond the daily heroic - a fast affair that I usually sneaked in at the office before anyone else arrived - because it allowed me to focus on materials gathering to support my raiding. Or alts. I like alts. I don’t have any in BfA because all of my time is taken up trying to keep one character’s head above water…

Please, Ion - let me finish up more types of content! Let me outgrow stuff so that I can focus on just the bits I actually give two toots in a high wind about!

I would have gone 1 step further, old WQ wouldn’t have been stuck on 395 aswell. This constant increasing of IL because some people are afraid you can get done with content is getting ridaclous. Allow me to be done, by not buffing warfronts I don’t care anymore! Although there are still 2-3 mogs I want (to complete 2 sets).

This is one the few things Ion finaly did I agree with, not give in and let warfronts become inrelevant. If you like to farm the same content over and over for the entire expansion M+ is there for you. And well IEs due to insane low RNG drop chances on mounts…

They give a terrible reward because they’re terribly easy.

They should never have given decent rewards in the first place.

But you can actually get good rewards now by playing Heroic Warfronts, which is a lot more reasonable in difficulty relative to other sources of 415 and 430 gear.

Warfront should be bumped to 400 and Invasions should be bumped to 390.
Warfront and Invasions should not offer worse base gear than Bethnic for 5 pearls.

400 is not decent. It’s the bare minimum to really be seen as a player worth taking to any group content.
If you’re going to have a system in an MMO-RPG it needs to be rewarding to the character. 370 gear is trash.

Warfronts are really as bad content as it gets. After months of not doing any I did the HC one, will never do them again. They are BORING AF.

More loot from an assured, never lost one, victory content? It really doesn’t detract from my enjoyment but I don’t think it’d be balanced that an activity which is laughably easy could reward more loot.

Not now it , which is how it was supposed to be. Last patch it was Heroic gear - more than decent considering the amount of work it took to get it (literally none - you can actually AFK warfronts and still win 95% of the time)

Agreed. So what is the purpose of Warfronts that are so easy as to be something you AFK?

I’m all for Warfronts where you go in there 20 people and have an epic battle and get some really nice rewards. That is not what we got however. I was actually really surprised to learn that Warfronts weren’t a PvP mode, but oh well. It could’ve been an epic spin on PvP

That’s a different topic but I agree, warfronts are boring and auto play themselves. It might as well just be a clock counting down.

But it still exists and is a system blizzard expects and wants people to do.
I’d do it for 410+ gear, or even if it was a guaranteed weapon or Azerite item, but it’s a random 370 with a random 400 if you have the quest.

hm those hundreds of people signing to my groups for hc warfront last night begs to differ.

i lieraly couldnt sort through them properly because they were flooding my list so fast.
