I would just like to say to Blizzard, don’t listen to these retail players coming to ‘vanilla style’ and trying to ruin the game. If they want to ruin the game more, they can do it in retail. We don’t need people like this who stand and complain about premades. They don’t understand how much of an important part of the game will disappear if you remove premades or make it premades vs premades. The social aspect will vanish. You’ll be alone playing PvP. The fun part of premades is the social aspect and figuring out strategies together on Discord, discussing whether we could have won the match or not, and enjoying the fast honor and reputation gains simultaneously. But most importantly, the fun part of PvP is the Discord interaction. It will disappear if you pit premades against each other or remove them. Because people engage in it for two reasons: quick honor and the social aspect. People will stop playing PvP altogether if Blizzard listens to these clueless individuals who are only here to destroy the beauty of premades. In Vanilla Classic, there were no issues, and everyone loved it! So don’t listen to retail WoW players.

This is precisely why I premade. Get exalted as soon as possible as painlessly as possible. Smash pugs, insta give up against premades. Never touch wsg again the second I hit exalted. If you have a problem with that, ask Blizzard to not put PvE BiS items behind long BG grind. If I could get wsg rep by solo activity like Ashenvale all the way to exalted, we wouldn’t have this conversation either.
I actively hate every second I spend in WSG because unlike most other grinds in WoW, you can’t do it passively while listening to podcasts or work calls, you actually have to focus on the gameplay. Gameplay I despise doing.

In Classic they dodged each other , even Had Queue spys. You Guys dont Like real PvP , all you care about is easy minmax. In 2019 we qued as premade to Fight other premades to Play for fun Like in Arena. Its boring af to Fight pugs

It was the same with AV in Classic for the offhand. Although there you can slack more because you are much less visible in a zerg of 40 players. WoW just sometimes is like that, you do things you hate for the rewards you want. But yes, of course, one day I will say “I played online videogames for kids as an adult father while doing remote work, what was I thinking?”
I also torture myself in a gym every day, a process I absolutely despise, so that my wife keeps finding me attractive and I can run up 5 flights of stairs in my 40s while not going out of breath, what was I thinking.

SoD is the most casual version of WoW out there and not the right place for people with a mindset like yours… you are going to be miserable all the way till the end AND make others miserable aswell on the way.
Also, what most people forget: we don’t know about the loot table in phase 2. maybe those bracers are not BiS at all anymore… then u spent so much time doing something u don’t like for nothing.

Lol, except its the retail players who are premading. In 2005 this didnt carry near the popularity of today, its primarily the retail mindset driving premades.
Majority of premades are made in trade, without discord, qithout communication they just farm pugs off the simple fact of the advantage of a good comp.
This social aspect you proclaim in 99% of premades are BS.
And I enjoy it immensely. I enjoyed collecting all the runes and trying them out, I enjoyed collecting my prebis in all the 5 man dungeons using the new spells. I enjoyed levellig my professions to craft my own gear. I enjoyed the BFD raid (though I didn’t get to “progress” it because I palyed casually at my own pace, and by the time I had my prebis, everyone farmed it on autopilot). I even enjoyed getting wsg revered in ashenvale, the event was pretty fun because it’s not really a pvp event but a PvE race copuled with a bit of startegy on where to send how many raids.
I am havin A LOT of fun in SoD, it is the best iteration of WoW I played since the first few months of classic on RP-PvP server.
It is just the tiny piece of overall game, the 21k wsg rep I need to get in an actual BG that I hate, because I really dislike wsg gameplay and am not a big fan of PvP even in general (though I can tolerate AB and AV much better). In all of classic I did 3 games of wsg for 3 marks so I can hand in the annoying quest cluttering my map view for 3x3 marks from pvp brigadier general.

I’ll be miserable during the grind, yes, but very happy once it’s over.
Also in pretty much every premade I was in, most everyone was there for the same reason, get exalted asap and never touch wsg again. I even used to ask before first game “will you play wsg once you hit exalted?” And it was invariably met with laughter, not once anyone said yes.

It won’t, it will just change from “wow we are so good at this game, we beat some pugs” to accusing each other about whose fault it is you lost vs another premade.
