I noticed today while joining a raid group that my Raid Frames aren’t showing at all.
When opening edit mode, I can’t even edit the Raid Frames anymore. It just doesn’t show them. I’ve resetted my complete UI but even that doesn’t work. Does someone know of this problem or how to fix this?
EDIT: My alt doesn’t have this problem. I’m able to edit the Raid Frames on my alt, but not my main…
Addons save their internal presets on a per-character and per-account basis, so it is unfortunately very possible for them to break elements of the game interface just for one specific version of the game you have (or even just for one particular character, as it seems to happen here). There are also a few interface-related variables that get stored on the server-side, meaning they’d not necessarily be returned to their defaults even if the game were to be reinstalled. It is possible to reset these variables, but for that to work all addons and their cached data must first be removed (disabling will unfortunately not be enough).
When that is done, please log into the affected character, and enter the following commands into the gamechat (one line at a time please, each followed by the Enter key)
/console CVar_reset
/console CVar_default
/console ReloadUI
You may see a few warnings pop up about missing permissions, but you can ignore those - the part that needs to work for this to be cleared will still happen.
