Please get over yourself with statements like this. Thanks for stating the obvious and nitpicking a comment that was clearly meant as his work being deleted by Blizzard and obviously meaning his future employment of being hired to voice a frequently returning character, Some of us don’t want to write 20 paragraphs per post to explain something that’s obvious like some people.

You also can’t explain why they would hire someone to do VO for all of his past work, either. When they don’t really do that for others. So, maybe stop while you’re ahead? It was a ‘gig’ for him that PERHAPS had future work. Very simple stuff. Sorry you’re unable to understand what most everyone else has.

Have you ever done VO for Blizzard repeatadly, as in one at one time then more in another expansion? OK then, you can stop commenting on it with surety. You and a few others have a habit of this surety and trying to correct others when you yourself don’t know a thing about the issue at hand.

Did he lose work in SL for it alone? Probably, 9.1 and ahead. Fact of the matter, he lost work, lost money, and lost part of his legacy. Saying he hasn’t ‘lost’ anything out of this is unequivocally false.

I might be wrong but I think he also did the voice lines for Kael’thas in Shadowlands up until 9.1 content. The new guy redid those and the old ones, so it’s not like he hasn’t done anything since TBC.

While I don’t personally like Blizzard’s knee jerk reaction, there’s nothing they need to apologize for. He did his job for which he was paid. The proper way for him to get justice is to file a civil lawsuit for defamation, arguing loss of work, etc. and get her last dollar.

I think the most common misconception here is that the man didn’t work for Blizzard for over 10 years. In fact he voiced Kael’thas in Heroes of the Storm around 2014-2015 (I don’t know the exact dates of course) and they added Kael’thas to Hearthstone last year.

All this is exactly why it should be kept out of the public sphere, because we don’t ever need witch hunts (even if the person is guilty). Once it is concluded in court that the accused is guilty, THEN you can make it public.

I get your point, but I don’t agree with it. I’d sooner put my trust into institutions acting with transparency, than blindly assume things are working as intended out of sight.

Morally maybe, but Blizzard as a company has full ownership over WoW content, and can replace each part as they like for whatever reason. People are free to stop supporting them and buying their games if they don’t like their decisions. Go woke, get broke as the saying goes.
