Blizzard should restore every MOP removed content for Pandaria Remix

It feels wrong how lazy Blizzard is making a MOP Remix using the incomplete mess that the this expansion is currently in Retail due to multiple story content that was removed.

There is no way to play the full story in Retail and there will be no way to it in the Remix due to all the story chapters that has been removed.

Orgrimmar and Stormwind: Those cities should have the MOP version of the city, without anocronisms. That means to have Garrosh and Varian. Other city leaders from the MOP era should be in their respective cities too. For Garrosh they could make it so players once start the Siege of Orgrimmar raid change to not seen Garrosh anymore.

Valley of the Four Winds: It is so crucial to MOP story the original valley. It makes no sense to have a MOP Remix with the Valley already corrupted, specially when it has been partially restored in Retail (but without the original story). It should have the original Valley and then have Zidormi to portal to the corrupted Valley, maybe requiring players to be max level to unlock it.

Patch 5.3 The Barrens Story: Not having this content makes the story makes a jump between the Throne of Thunder and Siege of Orgrimmar.

Legendary Cloack Quest chain: This chain is crucial for the expansion story. It was wrong that the quest chain was removed at the end of MOP and it is wrong that this isn’t restored for the Remix. Even if the chain is too much grind they can change it to reduce some quests in the chain, for example requiring completing every raid once instead of farming multiple quest items in multiple runs of the raids.

Brawler’s Guild: Maybe this is not essential for the story but it was a nice side story. Given the Guild hasn’t returned since the end of BFA this would be a great occasion to have it back.

Challenge Mode: It is true that this has nothing to do with the story but CM was the precursor of currenly Mythic+ so it will be nice to have it back for the Remix.

About the rewards and prestige: Before you jump complaining that all of this should be exclusve for people who do it keep in mind I am not asking for any of the rewards to return. I am asking for the content. I believe a good compromise could be to restore all this content with new rewards. Make new achievements for doing those things with a Timerunner character and give new rewards. For example the Challenge Mode recolors could be a valid reward for doing CM in the Remix. Or just put Bronze coins as rewards.

I know people who did it back them don’t want the rewards to return, but I also did it back them and I want to do those things again. I want to do Challenge Modes again. I want to replay the removed quest chains again. I want to fight in the Brawler’s Guild again. I want to return to the original Valley. I want to make a new character and play all MOP story again from the start up to the end on Siege of Orgrimmar, without missing any chapter.

I think the original valley was lovely. It’s a shame it didn’t revert after we beat Garrosh and the corruption etc.

I think Blizz missed a trick there and they’d also be missing one if they kept it ruined from the start. It just shows a lack of cohesion and care.

Mate have you seen the amount of cosmetics the added? The systems, abilities they created just for an event. Calling it lazy because you didn’t get what you want is ridiculous. All your points of argument you wrote suggest you basically wanted classic mop on the live server. You will be able to enjoy all of those things in a years time when they eventually release MoP classic servers.

How could have they possible create something you asked for on retail, compressed into a 2-3 month event while also simutaniously preserve the original nature of it? You haven’t really thought through this have you?

You are a lier. I have thought about it very well. I don’t believe they should do this for 2-3 months. I believe they should do this for the event and then keep most of this restored content always available in Retail because things like the Legendary Cloack Quest chain should be removed in the first playce. It is a mistake that should be fixed. Maybe keep some exclusive rewards for the event and that’s it.

Maybe they could restore it for MOP Classic but WOTLK has already shown us that everything restored for Classic after Vanilla will be lost in one or two years. It is too ephimeral. Classic has totally derailed and forgot that one the things why it was wanted is because we needed permanent restoration of WOW history.

I do agree more-or-less but as there is MOP Classic coming in about a year I can live with this.

I do think this should have the Cloak quest line to grant access to the Ordos area on Timeless Isel.
It should have the Challenge Modes too, even if recolours.

As Classic is entirely segregated from Retail it can’t offer the above unless they do implement a link.
