Blizzard Starting to Send Out Bans to Multiboxers Using Input Broadcasting

Sadly they wont rid all of them. Only those who use 3rd party programs for mboxing.

Well if we only getting rid 1/3 of the multiboxers, Im still really happy because that a good start.

I think they will change this decision soon because economy.

Not a chance in hell, they’d lose more subs from people angry at that decision

I think return single players will back when multiboxers banned.
Since they dont have mood from multiboxers steal from thier herb or ores.

The horror.

How do you mean?

Does this mean nothing will be dirt cheap anymore?

Hopefully as those bots prevented me to get the ah mount.

I’m with you haha.
It’s just that people will always find something to complain about.
Multiboxers only care about themselves.

It’d been nice if blizzard had acted sooner then i’d had a chance to get the ah mount.

Back in WotLK I made friends with someone who was a multiboxer who had created macros in game to do everything with his characters. He needed no “input broadcasting” from outside the game (back then I saw screenshots of the macros on the guild website we were in - me on my main that is and him on his multiboxing characters). There’s a big difference I think between putting in the effort to creating a tool in game with the coding macros provided by Blizzard and using an external input broadcasting thing to automate stuff. The latter is something I disagree with wholly. I’m on the fence about this ban as it does also affect someone like my friend who would not be “doing things illegal” as he would say: “if Blizzard provides the macros as a tool for doing stuff with characters then I can use them for this.”

Not surprised considering how some still seem to try salvage it and continue on as if they think they are an exception.

People finally who farmed materials (not with 10 accounts) will be rewarded better. So nope.

I understand your optimism and I am not multiboxer. However we know that Blizzard is not doing as expected financially and they are closing offices and firing employees.

Worst comes to worst and this plan of banning Multiboxers doesn’t become as financially brilliant as they expected they will throw it out of the window with big apology.

The question will not be about the outrage some people will throw here. The real question is will they bring the people they have banned. Not certain.!

OK… do tell us, how does Blizzard make money from accounts who do NOT pay any money?

You do realise these accounts buy the tokens off the AH, right?

Yes, multiboxers buy tokens from AH like free sub, no use real money.
