Why are you doing this? What is the logic?

The logic is that a significant % of allies do premades due to the overwhelming advantage of Horde.
Since you need to match equal numbers of A and H to have a BG but there are much fewer ally PvPers, the matchmaker cannot afford to be picky and matches you with a premade if it finds one.
Blizzard wants you to make friends
its a MMORPG, and i’m RolePlaying a lone bastard, and i want to fight other lone bastards and vagabonds
Matchmaking should have a solo-queuing option

And blizzard think it’s fun for all parts that premade can stomp pugs. They think people are being social and becoming friends in the premades

They are though I run with the same people now that I met from a random run and even do some raiding with them…
