When I got dragonriding, I moved the encounter bar somewhrre it was easier for me to see. When I went to save my profile, the UI would not save, as the button did nothing. When I clicked save and exit, my party frames and the boss frames snapped to the bottom left corner of the screen, covering the chat. “save and exit” also didn’t exit Edit mode (effectively just saved it).
I tried importing A friend’s UI profiles but the issue persisted through, including moving ALL of the profile elements over to the left (almost as if the game thinks my UI starts about 1/3-1/2 way into my screen). Resetting the Resolution did nothing.
I then followed the steps as set out on Blizzard’s forums (https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/7549). Deleted any add-ons that could interfere with the UI (namely Zygor and ElvUI). Reset CVARS to default. Renamed the three folders (Cache, Interface, and WTF) to CacheOld, InterfaceOld, and WTFOld and rebooted the game. Even so the issue still persisted (and this time there were no addons present in game at all). This must be an issue with the UI on the Blizzard end, and this only became an issue once I got dragon riding unlocked (moving the encounter bar where it would be easy to see for my dragon’s energy is when the problem began).
The ONLY workaround is clicking to reset the party frames/boss frames to default. This seemed to actually keep them, well, where they are defaulted to without snapping. It’s a bad fix to the issue as the whole point was to customise the UI to how you like it. but at this point what else can I do?
Has anyone else had this? Did anyone manage to solve it? I love the Blizz Ui and I’d be saddened to have to give it up.
