What is happening in those 2 countries is horrific, it is saddening just to try to think how the people in the affected areas can or have to deal with it. Blizzard has helped funding for many other things, why not do it now for those who are in such pain and desperation?
I have met people from all over the world while playing this game and it is one of the things that keeps me playing. To get first hand information about countries/cultures has enriched not only my life. My turkish friends are heartbroken, they are in a safe part of Turkey but they know what is going on where it hit and they try to help with what limited resources they have.
Blizzard, help those countries, you have faithful players from there but it is not about that, it is about being compasionate even if it might lower your profit.

Generally business company doesnt bother about world catastrophic events.
Best they can do is release a toy and give 80% of them to charity but still keeping 20% for them. Also use that for tax evasion for company benifits.

When it is profitable or good advertising, a PR stunt or such, they make a charity event/sale/etc but even then they keep something to themselves
With this tragedy known to most of the world I am sure they would get some nice PR?
Sometimes we see a pet added to the store specifically to raise funds for a charity.
Why is blizzard supposed to do that, while i feel for the people suffering, it’s the job of goverments to solve it, not private companies.

Yeah, they are currently preventing aid with their sanctions regime. Kinda like how they weaponized a global illness against some countries recently.
