Blizzard why are you lying about solo shuffle queue times?

It don’t matter if you queue at prime time or at 4am as dps, it will tell you “average wait time” is 8 min. Then you end up 25 min in a queue. Blizzard do you think we’re stupid and can’t realize you’re lying about the queue time just to convince people not to alt F4?

Also maybe you’re too dumb to realize what a bad idea it was to remove tank games. In SL prepatch queues for dps were 5 min, but then some try-hard streamers complained that the games don’t feel like proper AWC meta comps with a tank instead of a healer, so you removed them. Blizzard most players DON’T CARE about having a “legit” comp in solo shuffle. They just want to cap vault fast without waiting in queue for 30 min. But you sabotaged the whole game mode by removing tanks so now everyone gets to enjoy long queues and casual players are quitting left and right as a result.

I can’t believe the incompetence at your company, it’s unreal.

play healer problem solved

You get put in longer queues so that you don’t mess up as many other players gameplay when you deliberately leave after 1 or 2 rounds.

Much like you were sabotaging players keys to try & prove a point

Prolly because its 8 minutes for the first portion who get lucky into the queue cycles with healers but extends drastically when the next lot are wsiting for those specific healers to finish their games.

Game is 99.5% dps 0.5% healer after all

You cant play dps, not help resolve a issue. Then complain and blame others. The queues long because of lack of healers. Full stop

Why anyone wants to do the healer in solo shuffle? Do they have a brain that is foam? The most unpleasance experience in World of War Craft to be responsible for herding four headless chicken strangers. At the same time, you are powerless to help them.

Forcing people to play what they dont want, is not healthy for the game, and the new number of player statistic shows that clearly

Theres no solution. Unless they remove healer role from it, but then when u end up 3 dps stacks vs proper comps, ur gonna get mad because ur helplessly gonna lose.

This applies to pve pvp and arena.

Theres alot of players that wanna be dps. Its the natural case. And why automated queue systems are terrible.

Because everyone then just loops into its usuage and ur queue times go to Hell due to the natural imbalancement of roles.

Nah, various other games have proven, that you are completely wrong. The support Role in wow pvp is just horribly designed, and I think healers in PVP should grow beyond just healing. They should become Supports instead. That can include buffing the damage of your group hard, having tons of cc, etc. and also: Maybe some classes should just heal very little in pvp? Or give the group some sort of leech buff. Would make sense as a holy paladin aura. Shaman totems can also be just designed to fulfill an actual support role, where they do damage aswell, and not just heal the dps. (I know healers in wow already do damage, etc, but I think they should rethink the main purpose of the role, which is healing currently). Actually I think this would be an extremely intelligent approach to make tanks work in pvp in a healthy way.

Rly?

Gw2 has low tank / healer role players.

Ffxiv has low tank / healer role players.

Ive yet to see a mmorpg ive played as far back as Ultima online, that isnt majority wanting to be dps

Because you only look at MMORPGs, that all copied many things from wow. Wow is the best mmo in the world arguably. How about you compare it to let’s say League of Legends, Dota, Valorant, Overwatch. Games, that have solved the issues of why the support role isn’t popular, and not all of those games are egoshooters. With the Mobas I mentionned especially, it wouldn’t be hard to learn from them and make it work in wow. It’s only a return on investment question. The easiest way they can do this imo is by finding a way to enable tanks in arenas in a healthy way.

Looks for Healer spec on my DH…

True Vin likes to break raids and dungeons so would not surprise me if he is a constant leaver in solo as well.

It was like that at the end of Shadowlands, and I dont think people mind as long as the times are faster than 20 minutes queue
Anything is better than waiting in endless queue , spending 20 min in battle, ending up 3/3 most likely with 0 rating.

Turns out he has been silenced in game as well for using bad words, nothing else to see here move a long.

Yes has opened another thread on the subject as well.

that seems to be the limit on their timer for some reason. I always noticed it with normal and heroic dungeon queues as well. It pretty much always says 8 minutes

i know but its stil the only solution rn unless blizzard finds incentives for more people to play healer in shuffle.

but in the end i think its still more fun to wait 30min and actually have fun than instant invite as healer to get gray hair

Become one with the solo queue…

The target audience for solo shuffle is as you say conquest capping and vault capping.

The obvious solution is 2s.

The best solution is just allowing players to purchase conquest with honor at say a 10-1 ratio so that conquest isn’t gated behind rated play.

Yeah they might implement this in 6 months, a year, or 2 years and then pat themselves on the back in a self-congratulatory manner that they gave us what they took away in the first place and say “see? we’re listening!”. Makes me sick. I’m not falling for it. Until Blizzard can LET ME PLAY THE GAME I’m done. The only language they understand is money, make them pay for their incompetence.
