Blizzard you broke my heart

From 23th october there is the 20th Anniversary of World of Warcraft for me 21th as i started in vanilla beta however YOU as Blizzard need to thank us for playing your game but it seems there isnt any thanks to us beside a event online. @ 10th Anniversary longterm players got a statue as a thanks and now @ 20th Anniversary we get a auctionhouse mount of 78 euro’s ??? you need to be ashamed on yourself. Thanks to us blizzard is the blizzard of 2024. A little more gratitude would be in order on behalf of Blizzard.

This just sounds so wrong to me.

You play a game because you think it’s fun. That’s why you play it.
But they should be grateful for that? What?

This is all kinds of messed up imo.

It seems u did not play Bfa and is ok to skip some expansions but…

In Bfa this mount was costing 5 milion gold and was countdown time to be removed from game

At end of Legion token was costing around 400k gold, not sure about bfa but i think was around 380-450k

So if u do math this better version costing 7 tokens while bfa one was around 12-13 tokens

Some ppl farmed gold for months in order to buy it and some people who had actual life were buy tokens and sell for gold to buy mount.

So I really dont get why u r upset, because u r broke!?

First off u choose to play a game, u choose to pay for the monthly Fee, and last but not leased u choose to buy the mount, blizzard is a company and players have been asking a long time to bring the brutosaur mount back for months so they did that.

They coud express gratitude for their customers there… evry 2 moonth of subscription = 1% discount on mount.

Why? Half an hour after it got released there were dozens of them standing in Dornogal. Why would they need to be ashamed? They knew exactly what quite some players wanted.

That you don’t like it and that you feel like you are the reason of WoW’s success, that’s on you. See a shrink, perhaps they can help you with your narcissistic traits.

Theres a slight huge difference between a gold sink and a cash grab item.

One is designed to deflate the in-game economy.
The other is designed to increase shareholders’ wealth.

Dont like it, dont buy it.

Ah is exist outside these mounts aswell.

I also didnt buy many other thing from shop.

I don’t care if it gives you AH, or a summon stone, or a barbershop. People will buy whatever Blizzard develops like a phat kid would eat for breakfast in a McDonalds.

The problem comes when Blizzard realises that investing low money in certain items returns into more profit than developing quality content. When we arrive to that point, my friend, we could say that WoW would’ve died, because it will only be played by whales, if played could be the word to describe such game.

What do you mean when we arrive to that point? The first mount put in the store earned more than Starcraft 2. We are already there, if this were to be the case. They have King under their wings, who lives off IAPs. They know, they are well aware. Heck, why else do you think they added the store?

But in the end, that only works as long as people (a lot of them) play this game. So there’s always an incentive to keep it up, running, and in a decent state.
