Why did you have to make the “bring STV lumber to Arathi Highlands” quest give rep until exalted? There is no incentive to grind AB now… Should have just make it give rep till revered like Ashenvale in p1. Yes i know the quest gives 1k rep untill exalted but that takes 21 weeks if you’d only do Ashenvale weekly.
AB is the most fun battleground in wow history for actual pvp enjoyers. Its bad enough premading has been killed, but with the lumber quest in the game the way it is the BG is just not rewarding.
PLEAAAAASE don’t make this mistake again for the new BG you’ll introduce next phase (maximum copium).

10 rep per 200 resources in AB with a max gain of 100 rep per win + the win reward

200 rep for 2 coins.

How about the fact that we have a fun BG now instead of that dog water WSG?
AB is definitely one of the best BG’s but people defending the flag are basically in a lose lose situation, you get no additional reward for sitting at a flag missing out on the HKs etc. About time they made some adjustments.
It was the same in WSG. If you actually tried to play it correctly you might end up sitting on the roof with the flag for an eternity while the rest of the team was out farming mid. HKs aren’t worth much though, just isn’t very fun sitting around while the idiots are having all the fun.
Not only did they put AB rep into this event, but they also made it easy to increase PvP ranks with coins

AB is one of the few battlegrounds I like, but more than a few games for fun is a waste of time.
Balanced AB Lasts about 20 min to 25 min that’s almost an entire STV event where with good grp you can farm 2000- 3000 rep
give us 25 rep for taping/defending Base, 100 rep for a loss and 300-400 rep for a win, still not the best way but an alternative
And for pvp enjoyers, they will queue AB, what you mean is pvers arent forced to queue for BiS rewards from that rep grind lol.
I’d rather do AB without caring for reputation. Its my favourite BG, I’ve grinded the reputation countless times over the last two decades. Either way I’ll be playing AB
You can’t be that bothered or you would just play the battleground for fun over the event. It sounds like you really mean you personally want to follow the path of least resistance to get rep but that is an entirely different thing.
It sounds like you don’t truly enjoy AB and need an incentive to play.
