Blizzard's Baleful Boosts unBalance the Bedrock of our Beloved game

Forum is full of clout chaser who will bend over and take whatever blizzard shoves up their ar*e in some hope they’ll get some sort of forum status.

if u guys really want that Bli$$ard listens to u, u should all cancel ur subs and add ur anti boost stance as ur reason for ur sub cancel.

Cause if we are honest Blizzard doesnt care about their forums, they care about Money, so vote with ur wallet.

This is probably the only way to go regarding this to make blizzard actually listen.

Shoot the messenger eh Boosters?

No arguments to dispute any of the things I raised, but the forum tools used as an instrument of spite to try and censor my post.

I’ve been silenced for less. People on both ends flag anything they dislike, because there’s no punishment for it. Sad but true.

The rules say multiple posts on the same subject will be deleted, but they never do this anymore. I expect this is why your post is reported.

The boost skipping stuff, that is 100% true, it’s saving time, yes, but just because people want to save time, doesn’t mean they won’t play the game to it’s full extent after the boost and you have no proof they won’t.

Your post is full of one thing, half-truths and assumptions, Blizzard usually say “we have no plans at this time” the never say never. If they did we wouldn’t be playing Classic, would we? You can guess at the price as well but that doesn’t make it accurate, if they want people to get into TBCC then it might be cheaper.

If this existed at the start of TBC 2007, would people have bought it? Hell ya, they aren’t the “Purists” they are now.

Precisely my argument from 2012, which most, including yourself at the time, disputed, claiming that ‘no plans = definite refusal’. Fortunately you came around.

And in this instance my point stands. They had no plans to implement the things in the list, but they did; therefore how can they be trusted not to expand the cash shop? The fact that they were not definite in their rejection of those things is not relevant too the topic - in fact it’s causative! A definite rejection would provide assurance that the cash shop would go no further.

The price is not relevant either. The point stands regardless of whether the cost is 10 euros or 100 euros.

Yes, I used to say that, then I saw that they meant they will do it later on and not tell anyone about it. Honestly, I expect more services to be available in TBCC than the current ones of the boost and the server transfer.

You’re doing God’s work. I’m slowly becoming more and more apathetic but it’s nice to see you and others keeping up the good fight.

But where do you get 41% subscribers quit SL exactly?

youtubers who cover everything wow-related researched it and found out.
try googling it.

So you get your information from youtubers?
Not really evidence on that then lol.

well the youtuber in question happen to be Bellulargaming. basically a WoW journalist who got his proof from a website dedicated to keeping track of WoW sub numbers after blizzard stopped publishing them.

feel free not to believe me dude, but its the truth. 41% is not an exaggeration. retail sub numbers are now back to pre-SL status.

Don’t know who he is :man_shrugging:
Sub numbers are shared between SL and classic though.

No, they aren’t.

So, why can I play shadowlands and classic with the same subscription?
You can play both at once.

…just because you can play both games with the same subscription doesn’t mean they count as one-in-the-same dude… there are different statistics for both games.

Considering that players can play both and losing players after patches/expansions come out is common.
Shadowlands sold well, people completed the content that they were able to(people that don’t raid) > Proceed to quit until next content patch.
It happens to every mmorpg / content patch?

The “proof” of the sub count dropping is this.(The website you’re using)
World of Warcraft player numbers fell back to normal levels as the excitement around November’s Shadowlands expansion subsided.

You’ll also see subscriptions raise back up once 9.1 comes out and add more in once TBC comes out :man_shrugging:

In the end, they’re the same subscription.
Don’t forget that Naxx came out the same time as Shadowlands, so people would also quit from “completing” classic or quit until TBC comes out to preserve gold.

Dang it. I won’t buy a new car because there are others who can’t afford it.

Iron Logic.

Smells like communism btw.

There’s no point in disputing anything with a bigot.

The “Fight” is already lost.

Don’t forget to hit that subscribe button and turn notifications on! That way i can sell You any crap I’ll come up with.

:man_facepalming:

It happens to every mmorpg / content patch?

it didn’t happen to vanilla, tbc and wotlk when those games were current.

I saw that data way before Bellular made the video. Anyone else also could reach it.
It was compiled and published by SuperData, which is a subbranch of the media giant Nielsen.
Nielsen has 45k+ employees and has established branches in 110+ countries, one of the main media titans in the world, so they are more credible than anything you believe in life.
Their data is more trustworthy from anything you would get from Blizzard itself because even Blizzard gets their data from these companies.

You are trying really hard but doesn’t make it I’m afraid.

So a new car is the same as a boost for you? Now i understand why you look at this the way you look. But even tho both items have a pricetag on it, they are actually not the same.
You example would only make sense if the car you buy is a car you are not suppose to have. Sure … gaming has changed, player too. But the whole reason we wanted classic back is because those modern gaming elements like - a shop or boosting to skip parts of the game - were not in the game back then and (thats to conclued my stand against that) the game is not designed with a boost in mind.
On the other hand i can see why that it may free not right to you, because in yout mind you should be allowed to pay for stuff like that, it should be your choice.
Top make it crystal clear is want to ask you something:
You know why you have to be a boys to be a boyscout?

Every nemesis in everygame using those lines just moments before we kick his *ss
If you are so convinced that this is the chase, why even bother ?
They way you say it and maybe mean it is like writing: The sky is blue !

You dont have to devalue a honest complement that was not even targeted at you. Maybe this shows why you not understand our motives, its emotion. We really like WoW classic, you can maybe say there is a part in us that loves the game. Those thinks are hard to explain. Imagine liking something and trying to explain that to someonw who does not feel that way.
(nothing in here should serve as an attack)
