Can’t believe his daddy issues are finally resolved.
Being anima-milked by a big hot vampire daddy gave him some new perspective on things.
Given how Blizzard hinted at a Draka + Thrall reunion I’m expecting Garrosh to be there too. Either some big old Return of the King-esque gathering of Grom, Garrosh, Draka (etc.) sailing off to Orc Heaven where Dutoran is…
… Or a proper rematch between Thrall and Garrosh as Mama Draka and Papa Grom watch and ensure that this time Orcish Honour (as an everchanging, weird concept it is) is maintained and we get a clear winner.
Actually, C’thun is part of a noble race of space eyeball squid monsters who was merely ~corrupted~ by some insidious, yet morally grey, cosmic threat.
Blizzard will often sneak into this thread and take some insperation.
@Blizz have you heard about the Tess Greymane x Vanessa VanCleef ship I’m not saying it’s a good idea but it is a good idea maybe look into that.
The Void Lords just want to corrupt the universe to protect it from [PRECURSOR_ENTITY_01]
who in turn are only trying to protect the universe from the next big bad, and the next, and the next.
Geeze, you’d think repeating the same story over and over would get boring after a while.
What’cha mean? repeating the same old story over and over with minimal changes and “unexpected” plot-twists makes for a very interesting and engaging story… Right?.. RIGHT!?
That portal room answer… isn’t there literally a random old lady from Stormwind in Oribos? Ol’ Emma.
Some consistency would be nice Steve.
Maybe she got there using Transportation Magic.
I’m really like a depressive broken record at this point but god I just hate the Shadowlands as a setting.
It feels like I have to suspend my disbelief way more than any other expansion. It’s absurd. It’s made the concept of mortal death feel cheap, answers like “It’s actually hard to get there” completely collapse by the literal NPCs wandering around Oribos…
I just can’t connect to the setting. I can’t. We should have never have gone there. Some places are best left never being shown and I feel like the Shadowlands was a very good example of this.
Also what the actual heck is “Domination Magic” supposed to be? Can’t you just use one of the already 8 billion schools we have already instead of bloating things with more?
I miss Azeroth. I want normality again.
All of this is why I’m so hostile towards the concept of playable Venthyr/Kyrian/Whatever else as well.
In an odd way, I find some relief in seeing others react in the same way to this. I’ll raise my hand for normality, and a setting where the focus is on realistic conflicts, diplomacy and greed. The lore should be relatable
Shadowlands being hard to get to is a decent clarification again, I guess. The rest mostly makes me suspect the game is going to get ever-more cosmological and recycle their previous Greatest Hits of characters, like Garrosh and Arthas.
Why are we in the Shadowlands and still following the BfA gang around? Why are Brokers, the fit-all zane Goblin/Ethereal niche a main focus? Why do we still have no clue what half the playable races believe happens when they die? Why is the only focus of the actual Shadowlands the Jailer?
God, this worldbuilding
jesus take the wheel
You either get world-building or a raid tier.
Although the book going over the Azeroth funeral rites is gunna be pretty neat. Please validate my headcanon that blood elves cremate all their dead since the fall of silvermoon Danuser x
This is the easiest answer to a choice on earth
This is a depressingly realistic prospect given the general level of effort Blizzard seems to be putting into the non-gameplay elements of the game
On that note, I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of “The Very First Ones”, who will naturally have created “The First Ones” and were created by “Those Who Came Before” in an endless russian retcon puppet of creation myths.
Reject the Shadowlands, return to Azeroth.
The very first ones name is Twir’res, or another silly anagram of writers. Danuser was practically milking his own when he gleefully spoke about another perspective of people who aren’t titans and what happens to them when they refuse their order.
