Well said. I really miss the times when they kept things simpler about them and there were great clouds of mystery over them, making room for theories and creativities too.
As you said they keep adding pieces which together can’t form a proper structure, so it all becomes a mess, as it is now.

Seems the Shadowlands are more like a Plane akin to the Elemental Planes then… Well the afterlife?
The best part of this expansion story has so far been when Baine gets beaten up and dragged back into Torghast.
The worst part is that u have to free him.
It’d been ultra based if insted of saving him you could have bashed his skull in, and when Bolvar asks what happened you say he ran into a wall / fell off the stairs.

The biggest issue with Baine is that the way Blizzard is telling the story means for all intents and purpose… Baine is the tauren. A race that is a confederacy of nomadic tribes are just Baine at this point. And it pretty much goes for every other race at this point too.

The biggest issue with Baine is that he complained about every single decision the Horde leadership took and never offered another solution.
And Thrall lost his axe to the Lava inside Toghast, and went through to recover a PROPER WARRIOR’S WEAPON 
.
However, it costed his life this time…
