Blizzcon viewing party

Greetings wow community!

Over the years I've hosted a few Blizzcon parties for my friends, and seeing as Blizzard made their own viewing package this year I thought I'd ask if you, the people of Blizzard's own community had any good ideas or suggestions for us to do during our Blizzcon viewing party.

Here's a bit of context on what I've planned so far.

It'll be a small gathering of friends, I'll be making a Dragonbreath chili from the WoW cookbook for the first evening and ofc, I've printed out Blizzards own viewing package so we can participate in the activities included there. I've also made these lovely hard paper cards featuring iconic Blizzard art with corresponding lore on the backside to hand out to my friends as a small party token.

On top of that I'm also in the midst of putting together a short film that we'll watch prior to the dinner as an introduction to this years Blizzcon.

I'd love to hear your ideas regarding decorations, food/snacks/drinks and activities!
Between the cookbook and the Viewing Party Kit I think you're more than prepared for the show, at least for snacks/food/drinks anyway :D

For decorations, you could really go as crazy or as chilled as you fancy making your space.
You could do faction logos as cutouts, or game logos to have different spots marked out on the sofa/chairs you'll be using.
A big Blizzcon sign maybe, just the logo as big as you can get it :D

It might sound really simple but something we've done here in the office for the shows is use blue lighting around the room just to give the space that Blizzard blue vibe.

Come back after the show and let us know how you and your group got on!
^ What the blue guy said :)

You could make a 20 question game like those you do when travelling with kids, for example:
- Mention 10 cities in Pandaria
- Mention 3 alliance languages
- Show the murloc dance
- mention 3 wowtubers
- etc etc etc

And for decorations I think you also could go like a little halloween/x-mas decor, but where the usual elfs, santas and skeletons is replaced with faction colours, race emblems and such.

You could even go with mask like those halloween mask we can get at the event now ^_^
Thanks a ton for the tips! I'll look into printing out some logos etc, and if I can I'll get some Philips hue lighting to set the mood!

How did it go?
