Blood Dk nerfs

50% nerf to death strike healing with extra 10% dmg taken from players?
I’m not the type of player to come on the forums, but this time i’ve to.
Seriously, what were you thinking when applying this nerf? i would love to see a developer note as to why. Blood dk is all about death strike healing, that is the CORE of the class and you make it useless?
If you get caught into a 4 sec stun and have 3 peole on you, you are about to be obliterated.
It’s crazy to think about Dh (broken in almost every aspect of the game), shaman lasso, mage greater pyro and yet you buff them all by 5%.
Back in Legion i was trying to get into rated bg groups, once i got to 1.6k i wouldn’t get into groups because and i quote ‘You are not a Dh’, and im pretty sure its still the same, and now even more.
I’m talking from a Wpvp/random bg stand point, once again, because who on their right mind would take a bdk for rated pvp.

Stupid and illogical change. Nothing more needs saying.

Ill considered nerf. Bdk is still kicking in wpvp, low arena and random BG, yet absolutely destroyed at rated batllegrounds.

do you want to tank 20 people?
everyone should die quickly with 3 people on you while you are stunned

I really believe that no one from Blizzard staff care about our post and they dont read it, but once again i will type here. Im 473 blood DK and i dont think 40-60 k ( max with all buffs once at few minutes - 120-130 k ) is normal heal for 1.1 mil hp tank. I receive major damage and cant heal back even part of it. After we use all of our cd, we just die in a seconds…We are in the bottom in m+ cuz everyone wants prot warrior, and now we are in the same place at wpvp…Is this logical Blizzard ?!? To destroy another class because you cant balance the game ? DH can survive everything..we cant survive sh&t… GG

RBG is actually the only braket, where this nerf severely damaged bdk. It was one of the weakest FC (low mobility, weak saves and so on), now it’s, maybe, the worst FC. But blood is still strong (for tank) in all other pvp-situations. Not as strong as dru or pala ofc.

You should probably learn how to do PvP without relying on a tank spec that is built to dominate almost any other spec in a 1v1 or at least force a stalemate. Tanks do not belong in rated pvp, with RBG FC’s being pretty much the sole exception. And you wouldn’t use BDK for that anyway (or well, anywhere above 1800 rating you wouldn’t).

Also, didn’t know that frost mages could use greater pyroblasts. That is new information.

When tanks doesn`t belong to PvP, why we are allowed to join there ? And if i want to play as tank, Blizzard must give me the same game exp as others because weall pay the same and we have to receive same content.

Well playing any BG was just annoying any class basically out healed me and i couldn’t close to win any fight, I don’t know why this Nerf was put in but i think Dk’s were fine where they were at. :confused: Would be nice if they could change it back maybe even give us half back.

they just got nerfed recently what i want next is prot paladin nerf in pvp their dmg and their self heals are absurd stupid

if u go RBGs u dont know what map ur going to get.
you always take a tank with offspec dps in case u are put in a CTF/cart where u need a tank to survive with it.

no1 was taking blood already because ur easily kited, no mobility and ur defensives are laughtable unless some dumb meele decides to let u heal with DS. monks, druids and specialy the DH far outclass blood in this regard as FC

I didn’t say mage spec, I said greater Pyro.
And tanks do belong in rbg, there’s so much a tank can do, but anything blood can do the others do 10 times better.

It is indeed true that mages got buffed, but you forgot to mention the fact that it was FROST MAGES who were buffed. Frost mages cannot use greater pyro, although in your opening message you clearly tried to indicate that fire mages were buffed by 5%.

PS. Tanks are only useful for flag carrying in RBG’s, which eliminates over half of the maps already. And BDK’s aren’t ideal for it anyway, no matter what you do to them. That is why this nerf only affects those who play BDK in open world pvp or arena.
