Blood DK Sanlayn gutted

Why ? Just why ? No one plays it. Is much more chalanging to play compared to deathbringer and is not even that rewarding when playd optimaly. You gave us buff after buff to make up for it. It finaly feels somewhat good despite all the issues that are obvious to fix. In the end you decidet … hmm lets gut it.

And you know what pisses me off… I was stacking F toon of haste so far. Now you force me to go deathbringer that have 0 benefit from haste. Even if stay Sanlayn for god knows what reason I still need to drop some haste

I don’t understand changing vampiric blood to activate vampiric strike. The Sanlayn was playable…I don’t understand destroying it permanently. I want vampiric blood to return.

The core design of San’Layn was always problematic. Being forced into spamming 1 button to stack up gift doesn’t really fit well for BDK anyway, as you need to weave in blood boil, death strike, etc. It doesn’t matter much if it needed to happen during DrW or Vampiric Blood, but yeah, I don’t really feel any improvement.
I think it would be a slight improvement if all your damage abilities provided stacks during DrW, since it’s capped anyway. Also, maybe add a few seconds to the DrW duration when you spec San’Layn.
Thematically though, I think they could have picked something cooler. Something like the Swarming Mist ability that we had with Venthyr in Shadowlands would have fit perfectly into the Blood/Vampire theme , and it seems like a missed opportunity.

devs that know what they are doing and play this class are long gone, there’s blatant anti synergy in Bloods design, clear flaws any animal could point out if they only played it for one single week.
