Blood elf or Tauren fury warrior (indecisive)

Hi there, I’m looking to play a warrior and can’t decide between belf and tauren.

My toons are almost exclusively female blood elves (master race). I played a tauren warrior back in wotlk but ended up deleting that one. I guess I didn’t care for the tail and missed playing a belf. Since blood elves couldn’t be warriors back then I made a paladin instead.

But on the other hand I like how big and powerful tauren warriors feel when I do the class trials. And I think the rampage and dragon roar animations look excellent on them.

So why do you guys prefer playing tauren/blood elf warrior?

As for Blood Elf vs Tauren, obviously the only choice is Tauren.

  • Increased crit damage and healing
  • Increased stamina
  • War Stomp
  • You have horns
  • Bulky frame to instil fear into your enemies hearts

Taurens are extremely cool but I personally can’t get used to how they look on mounts and the way alot of mount options just don’t work for them (imo).

I’m not really interested in picking a race just for racials so I can’t comment there but gear looks cool on both races.

Taurens have a little more presence on a battlefield though.

Blood Elves look good no matter the armor they wear. Stick with what you love, I’ve been tricked into rolling races I ended up disliking because I thought they seemed cool in the class trial.

I personally play as Troll warrior, the animation and the looks is good :sunglasses: imo.

Thanks for the input everyone. I agree with Nagrash and Aeula on all points.

Ultimately I made a pro/con list between warrior/shaman/druid and as it turns out I’m leaning towards druid now as opposed to warrior. :stuck_out_tongue: Too bad blood elves cant be druids, but female trolls look nice in their own way.

Darkspear trolls are a great druid choice. Again tho I prefer Tauren for druids hah. each to their own and all that :slight_smile:

Honestly though, as long as you’re picking Horde, then there’s no wrong choice.
