Can we get an update on the blood elf racial?
I feel like blood elves are such a cool race but for some reason the racial is one of the worst for pvp. I feel like they deserve more.
The cooldown is too high for what it does. Like removing 1 beneficial effect from enemies within 8 yards is useless given the fact how many buffs players have these days.
Either make it to remove at least 2 or 3 effects from all enemies within 8 yards or give us back the old one which gave silence.

they went from a S+ tier racial, to a B tier racial, they should be happy with what they have. You get to play classes like rogue, ww monk etc. Which inherently dont posses the means of helping with “purging”
Just disable racials in pvp. Now every race can be played.
You think they would of addresses it by now between all sweating in pve and pvp over the years minmaxing content with racials in such a way it created a obscenely favorable situation in some cases
it should remove 3 effects per person in an 8 yard radius
then it would be fine.

Nobody stops anybody from playing anything.
You’re talking about players form of favouritism.
Which will not be gone once racials are hypotetically removed.
Everyone will start rolling the “pretty” characters. Elves, Draenei and humans.
Eventually some will be orcs and worgens and very few tauren and dwarves.
Meaning you all are screaming that race favouritism being a problem by promoting yet another form of it.

However
Once it is gone, there will be more freedom of choice.
In current game, if you want to progress and you’re relatively serious about the game. Racials do offer stats and there is a miniscule negligible not really worth talking about, slight damage difference based on race/class combination.
On the other hand, some racials go as far as offering crowd control, or some form of healing / movement / freedom effect or a means to enter stealth. Some posse really strong passives or on-use effects the equivalent to a trinket too which have dictated meta-game in years of old of what faction top end players were playing on.
even in raiding, your race choice has contributed to some form of number crunch in some raid tiers, regular troll racial passive got nerfed because of mythic Jaina, as one example.
dwarf stoneform got pre-emptivley nerfed for Castle nathria’s bleed on the generals also.
I think it would be common sense to streamline racials at this point or atleast make it a pick or choose if Blizzard are so keen about bringing the player over the class.
Edit: hypothetically speaking changing racials to be a pick thing wont probably change much statistic wise since lots of people play the usual suspects but at the very least it would go acknowledged and greatful for it im sure if they were able to make it not feel so much like a punishment for playing what you want.
There were no racials in Plunderstorm .
And you know what happened ?
Everyone started picking gnomes and vulpera , because they are small . Meaning harder to see , and harder to hit .
So we ended up with games full of gnomes and vulpera .
No thank you . I will keep my racials instead of playing a japanese anime meme with pint sized ,huge headed , rainbow colored kids hitting each other with oversized inflatable swords .
People will always find something that gives “a slight” edge and than someone will complain about it.
Next we will have "but Green orcs are hard to spot on maps with a lot of greenery , like Warsong gulch and Arathi Basin ".
At the end all characters should become symmetrical blocks of gray so that no-one has “competitive” edge .
We can’t have grey cause the new arena has grey floor.

Guys stop fighting. When blizzard wants you to spend time and money rerolling races you will see racial changes.

Remove racials from pvp. Or remove shadowmeld. Cba see everyone playing night elf cause shadowmeld is op. Doesnt even make lick of sense seeing all of these night elf warlocks and mages, nor they would be unless shadowmeld were so op. I cba see everyone play same race for everything.
Im pretty sure nobody is gonna stop playing Night Elf once Shadowmeld is removed.
If anything everyone will go on the 2 ends- one part of the player base gonna move to play elves the other gnomes for the hitbox.
If racial stops you from reaching your desired rating- you really have a s*** excuse.
Other than that - it shouldnt bother you, the only different reason for this to bother you is that you’re a minmaxxer who is tired of being a minmaxxer but cant find a way to stop.

Your assumption and a guess that is not based on anything factual, also false as I’m not minmaxing half of my races what I’m playing. Factually all I have played currently are not night elf. But looks like you are playing one so this is bit rich.

I have 3 classes currently 2.1 as non nelf and one of them is 2800mmr something 70% win. I cant see what you play but I can see you have done some pvp with this nelf you post on forum. I’m also not going to engage in any back and forth debate about shadowmeld being op or racials in general as the statistics already show it op if we look at the races what people play. I’m perfectly fine playing my other races, I even played entire expansion as goblin, youre barking on wrong tree if you try claim otherwise that I couldnt play whatever I want. Ppl still play nelf cause its op, and it should be nerfed, these show in statistics that you can try dispute but I dont care debate as you can just look public data yourself.

I mean, you hide your account for whatever reason and its not my business, but I dont hide nothing in mine, so if you make claims towards me atleast look me up first before claim something that is not true. Like calling me as minmaxer or whatever, Im literally playing goblins and dark iron and void elves here 
Fact still remain that shadowmeld is op and is the reason why everyone play it for their locks and mages and whatever, its used for every class they can. And frankly I’m just sick of seeing only nelves. But its also undisputable fact that shadowmeld is broken op both pve and pvp.
