[Blood elves] Scaling issue with weapons

Hello Blizzard folks,

Is that possible to reconsider weapons scaling on blood elves or maybe in general? Or propose the 1.0 scaling or the 2.0 in tmog panel?

issue

Issue n°1

There are many staves that have scaling problem with blood elves.

https://ibb.co/WZ672kQ

Finally I ve many staves with this problem, some are wonderful but it often hide 50% of the head/haircut and sometime more than 50%… when on other race there is not or less problem like that…

Issue n°2

Regarding the 1.0 weapon scaling vs the actual one… I’m sorry if for melee dps or something else who want to have HUUUUUGE FANCY 1 handed weapon.. maybe it can fit

But sorry for casters… it doesnt fit at all… we are with mace who look too huge and seem to weight about 500kg… for a one handed priest? like really?.. :dracthyr_cry_animated:

daggers look definitely like sword… no doubt in that…
1 handed swords look like 2 handed swords…

etc…

https://ibb.co/60mxNfWG

https://ibb.co/TxbQLQW4

etc… etc…

and at the end… I ve many thing to tmog … but I only use 1-3 models of weapons which are not so dumbly “too huge” (but it is…)

I really like Val’anyr for exemple and I have it in my collection but sorry it looks like if the mace weight for 1 ton… I m a blood elf priestess not a gigachat tauren warrior…

There are so many daggers (old xpac like vanilla tbc wtlk) and even from new ones like DF etc mais there definitely look like sword…

weapons have non sense size scaling on blood elves..and maybe on other (all) races…

Is that possible to reconsider that please ? or propose a normal scaling like back in the old days? Or maybe send my message to the devs who are in charge of cosmetics? :dracthyr_cry_animated:

Thanks for your time.

I knew Puny will respond and saying the same thing you already told on another topic.

But you can agree that casters might probably dont want to hold a 500kg-1ton one handed weapon

when you re a giga chat retpal maybe

when you re a priest or a mage no

the issue is specificly on one handed weapon like come on a supposed one handed mace what is clearly look like a 2 handed giga mace… its not fantasy its ridiculous

toogle 1.0 - 2.0 ON / OFF is a good option

a staff is a staff. firstly its a 2 handed weapon.

issue i pointed about staves is not the size but the scalling. There is clearly an issue with blood elves

on majority of other races ,staves main object ( icon on the top pass the head. on blood elves you have it behind your head or 50%

what dont you understand between “size” and “scalling” ?

yes this staves set colours fit good i admit. I watched all staves on collection.

But you have to admit there are others staves that fit bad or different from other races . I showed it on my screen

and yes gnomes have other issue : weapon that litteraly going under the floor

as many blood elves we enjoy our haircut and head look but many staves hide it … what is not happen on other races…

maybe its not scalling but axis issue

I just realised this is in CS and not in GD. Apologies to the Blues.

is there a GD part ? I only saw a “in dev” part ( so midnight )

Personally I would love human sized weapons on my belf. But the increase we got from the tiny weapons was a vast improvement.

its your opinion and maybe its shared by others but you cant declare its OK for everyone

its why I asked for a toogle option

this one is supposed to be a dagger.

AI says (sorry i dont have tools on PC do mesure it myself)

its around 80cm

I m sorry but words have sense. A dagger is not 80cm

Hey Gabriela,

I’m afraid that this isn’t something that Customer Support or game masters would be able to address. As always, if you have suggestions or ideas that you’d like to share with the developers, you can create a new thread in the General Discussion section of the forum, or use the in-game feedback system.
