Felt a bit nostalgic and decided to make a Blood Elf Paladin to clean up some Loremaster Achivements I’ve neglected. Took him through Ghostlands and currently finishing up some Outland zones, and having a blast.
I was surprised (pleasantly, but still) to learn that I had the Blood Knight tabard unlocked for transmog at level 1, despite having never actually unlocked it before. I was less pleasantly surprised to learn that the class mount simply appeared in my mount journal as I levelled. The two class quests I’ve seen available at the trainer in Orgrimmar so far have been for a tier 1 remake helmet and some weapon.
On this character, my OG Warlock, I still have items in my bank which will allow me to summon the demons for the original Dreadsteed quest in Dire Maul. I was looking forward to doing some Blood Knight-exclusive quests on my Paladin, with their whole pre-Sunwell vibe of stealing the light and what have you.
I understand that some things have been streamlined, and I assume that if I were to level a new Warlock, on a new account, that the Felsteed and Dreadsteed would simply show up in my mount journal. But as I am still able to perform the rituals for the original quests on this Warlock - I’m wondering if it’s still possible to experience the original Blood Elf Paladin quests somehow, even if the rewards are given out freely?
Is this possible on retail, or would I have to play Classic TBC in order to do this?
