It is a shame, because Blood of the Highborne actually details a lot of plot and -why- things happened, I couldnât even get a copy in English, but had to read it in German (No slant against German people, I speak German and love the country) Which whilst OK, was not -great- because I wasnât able to -read- it, but I had to stop and check that I had gotten words correct. But yeah, there are some genuine âWhat theâŚ?â âThat actually happened?â moments in the story, as well as a lot of tying up of lore.
And Lorâthemar sounds like the most bad-donkey Horde leader after reading it. No spoilers, but dear GodsâŚhe is hardcore.
in terms of release date, yes, in Chronological order in terms of when the things they describe happened, then no, they are not. For example the War of the Shifting Sands happened long before the events in âUnbrokenâ, and âThe Shadow of the Sunâ happens before âEdge of Nightâ (As it makes no sense otherwise, why would Sylvanas try blackmailing Lorâthemar to fight the Lich King if the Lich King had already been defeated! )
They seem to be roughly of a similar time to each other, in how they presented on that page, but they donât seem to be in exact order of the events they describe.
âBlood of the Highborneâ would muddy those waters even more, as the novella -itself- jumps time a bit, which eh, I suppose you can do, when all the characters are ElvesâŚ
