Blooddrinker - I don't understand

What is the point of this ability? Right now it heals me for 413k health over 2.4 sec at 10.1m health. That’s such a ridiculously small amount. Even if it healed 3 times the amount and was free to cast, I wouldn’t ever consider it over Consumption.

Am I missing something? Do some BDKs actually take it for for the 15% damage reduction or something? Blooddrinker is so far down in the talent tree, right in the center, like it would be the ultimate ability.

you see, when you see Dk abilities and design coming from classes like monk and mage people are always shocked.

because yes, this is our reality, completely anti synergetic design and baffling design choices, all three specs infact have glaring issues, it’s a cool outer exterior with a large hollow core of nothing behind it, compared to Monk for example, especially after the WW rework.

But its okay because WW monk had one bad patch in Dragonflight and was immideatly rushed to the emergency redesign operating table, while DK has been bleeding out in the waiting room.

im getting off on a tangent as i always do but blooddrinker has not been a button worth pressing or taking since they killed it in Legion, it also used to cost a Rune aswell.
back in legion death strikes did close to a million damage with HP pools beinga round 12 million mid expac if i recall correctly, blooddrinker did 3 million damage in 3 instances, so an effective worth of 3 death strikes of healing for one rune, really good. nerfed of course.

this is the DK reality, dont play this class becauyse the devs dont.
