I have seemed to either have met a bug. I have worked months, ever since the Service Medal vendor was released, for those two mounts - or more specifically, the Priestess’ Moonsaber. You see, my main, and my second main, are both Alliance, but given there was another mount, I decided to work on my main on the Krolusk, and on my horde, the Bloodthristy Dreadwing. Why? Because so far, every mount I have worked on one faction - I was given a ‘mirrored’ version of the other. Examples? Grand Gryphon/Wyvern, the PvP 100 arena victory mounts, and the list goes on. Than… I bought the bat mount today, and to my shock, the Moonsaber is still not locked…? …while when I unlocked the 200 marks mount, IT IS mirrored…? I don’t get it. If it’s a bug, I wish for it to get fixed , as I have worked months on a rather not-enjoyable farm, to say the least, to get my well-earned reward… But if not, I wish to speak with those who are supposed to know about this issue… As your being extremely not clear with what mounts are mirrored, and what not, and the mount from the -SAME- vendor that rewards the bat, also reward a MIRRORED mount, so it freaking feels like you baited us , those who play two factions, to work hard on the more expensive mount aswell, only to than, one day, when we finally got it, to almost spit in our faces… If it is just a bug, than again, sorry if I seems so angry, but part of me somehow expect it is not a bug, and that slightly ‘triggers’ me, to say the least…
It certainly is annoying and I wish they’d change it but I also thought you’d have to work towards each separately. I mean it is a faction specific thing rather than just a colour reskin like the Arathi horse.
i know the 200 version is mirroed but i sadly cant say about the other as still collecting sorry 
i think the same will be the case with WoD TW mounts. 2 mounts, 5K each. but faction specific, and NOT mirrored. this may change before release as its only ptr atm but still, yeah, while i’ve not really started the grind yet (barely have over 200 coins) i am not looking forward to having to do 750 on alliance which i only play for cross content stuff.
You’re right, it’s not mirrored (my Horde alt doesn’t have the Dreadwing even though I’ve unlocked the Moonsaber). According to what I’ve read, it looks like it’s that way by design.
