Hello Blizz[redacted]. Can you refund me 2-4k gold that I wasted on overpriced Scarlet Rubies because it took you guys 5 months to implement the blue gem for emblems hotfix? Could’ve been buying them from start for 10 emblems if you guys weren’t this [redacted] & [redacted].

We should be able to buy the gems with honor, too (since patch 3.1.0 Ulduar release). However, still not there. Lets face it, Blizzard classic team has like 2 half time employees left.
Didn’t one of them get fired at the beginning of the year? Thought we only had 1 left.
One of the lead devs of it did because he protested what is a very terrible system to basically abuse their other employee’s with.
And well, he didn’t really get fired iirc, he said he’d leave over it because he didn’t wanna be forced to rate a certain % of employees low score, as the system was forcing him to.
And then Blizz was like YOU CAN’T QUIT YOU’RE FIRED!!!
Every single time I check posts here it’s just hate haTE HATE - always hating on everything - no one is ever happy with the state of anything. Blizzard is an indie company but no one really cares about that. Yes, there’s still two people at the office and Thomas and Jonathan are doing the best they can. And then when they do something really awesome for the game ( like Heroic+ or allowing bots to also play ) everyone just brings something new. Give Tommy and Nathan a break sheeeesh…
You can still buy them on AH if you dont like the vendor ones.

No. It was never in at the start of Wrath.
Can’t confirm or deny if it was since launch but they added them very quickly, still in T7 content.
Released nov 2008, earliest post I can find where they are talking about rare quality gems for 10 emblems is january 2009.
Couple thousands of gold wasted because of Blizzard’s incompetence and/or laziness and/or forgetfulness.
Imagine changing irrelevant, unbroken things instead of making sure the game has what it’s supposed to and isn’t ridden with bugs.
According to wowhead it was on ptr during patch 3.0.3. This means it was implemented in patch 3.0.8 on January 20, 2009. Its about 5 weeks after wotlk release and 3 months before Ulduar release. It was not exactly at launch, but close to it.
