Blue quest area blobs not showing on minimap for main

I am having an issue where the blue quest area blobs are not showing in my minimap for my main character, they show for all the 10+ alts just like they should. I have tried resetting my UI, disabling addons and tried to use the “/console minimapShowQuestBlobs 1” command to enable it but nothing has helped. I even downloaded and installed Wow on another pc and still the issue remains. I am at a loss of what to do, it used to work fine before TWW launched and now its gone so any ideas would be gratefully received as it’s really frustrating not to have.

Hmm well that was weird but seems to have worked, I installed ElvUI (an addon I have not used since Shadowlands) but having that running and toggling POI in the minimap options seems to have turned the quest area blobs back on when i go back to the default UI. So yeah, erm… if anyone is having that issue, give that a try.
