Hello, been having a problem recently of having blue screen crashs when (and only when) loading screens happen.
The blue screen error is : video tdr failure nvlddmkm.sys
the crash happens from times to times, usually when loading into a crowded area (like orgrimmar).
Game is installed on a SSD
DirectX is up to date
GTX 1050 drivers up to date
bug happens in windowed mode or not
bug never happened on huge pvp fights, just loading screen
bug doesnt happen on other really demanding games (like strategy games with loading screens all the time)
bug has appeared recently (about 6-10 days ago)
I didnt install anything new to my pc
My primary suggestion would be to reinstall you graphics drivers… but when you see the option to, check the box that offers to “CLEAN INSTALL”.
It’ll be small & below the list of components being installed.
Aside from that, you may want to remove & re-seat the graphics card & any power connectors to it; that said, 1050/ti cards usually get all their power from PCI-e slots, so don’t be surprised if there are no power connectors.
If you do go inside the case, make sure that all other power connectors are properly seated, too.
