Since the pre-patch I have an error with BLZ51901016 and it is 100% due to me using a VPN as if I deactivate the VPN the game works.
But since I live in china (expat) I need to have a vpn to connect to EU realms with my friends (else I have a ping of 3s vs 250ms with VPN).
This problem is only on retail NOT on classic (I can connect without problem using a VPN) and don’t send me to the link you have to reset network adapter I can confirm it is due to VPN as toggling it on and off resolve the connection problem.
Is there any plan to look into this issue as I have seen many post of people having the same issue as me.

Blizzard offer no support for VPN’s. While you may use them, you do so entirely at your own “risk”, as they won’t help you use them, or help you fix them when they go wrong. So no, I doubt that there are any “plans to look into this”.
Other users may help you, but Blizzard most likely won’t.
